Light the Night Kayak Tour in Vancouver

We did the tour in the evening, it was simply magnificent! The city with its lights and guides really enjoyed their job and we felt safe and well taken care of every moment! Definitely recommended!!

What a brilliant adventure. I’ve lived in Vancouver for 30 years and I’m always amazed how different (and stunning) it looks when you’re out in the open water! The kayaks were very steady and our guides ensured we felt safe and taken care of. They also gave us the perfect mix of relaxed paddling and stops with interesting (and at times alarming) details about False Creek, the several bridges crossing it, and the marinas. We had a beautiful, calm evening and the sunset was gorgeous. I’ll definitely be back to rent a kayak! Also, the recommend that you bring a towel and a change of clothes — at least for your bottom half! You’re in an open-top kayak — you WILL be sitting in water. But they have a very comfy place for you dry off and get changed at the end.

We had a great time enjoying the Vancouver night lights from water level while flashing our own disco lights. Kristie and Amy were excellent guides and herded us water cats with aplomb! Fantastic experience!

This was so much fun! My sister and I loved kayaking at night with the light up boats. They give you a tour of the island and what you can see from the water. They also give you hot cocoa at the end!

This is an awesome experience and worth the money! I thoroughly enjoyed it especially since I was solo travelling. Good to meet others too! Great guides too. Thank you.

This was so much fun. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it after the half marathon….but it was amazing. Jack, Cesar, and Tyson were so wonderful and patient!!! Beautiful night views of the city! Highly recommend!!!

Really peaceful and stress-free paddling on this night tour. Guides were friendly and safety-conscious.

A friend and I did stand up paddle board with Rhiannon and I believe Athena on Sunday 4 June. It was just the two of us but it was an amazing experience because of the guides! They were patient, kind. We learnt a lot of skills and history. It was honestly amazing! Thank you so much. Defs coming back again. Tadi xx

Had so much fun paddleboarding around Granville island, James and Sinéad were such a great and fun guide for us!

Our guide Eimear was awesome! She was engaged, funny, interested in chatting with us and told us a lot of interesting facts as we paddled False Creek. We had a safety briefing as well as helpful tips given to us as we paddled that left us feeling safe and comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend this tour, ask for Eimear to be your guide!!!
