We have to give this tour mixed reviews, for both the logistics and the guide, Coach. The positive: Coach definitely knows a lot about both history and anything Boston. He can answer any question and the route includes a lot of sites (mostly pass-bys, but still a lot to see). We liked the concord bridge as well as the concord museum the most. Our main complaints were 1) the small van seats are not comfortable at all (too upright, not enough legroom) and you can’t really see that much if you’re toward the back. 2) The pick up spot was bad news, it was State Transportation Building and you wait outside on a sidewalk where we had unhoused people harassing us pretty badly including racial slurs and more, and you’re just waiting there alone. 3) The guide, named Coach, is often quite funny, but sometimes kind of mean and bitterly sarcastic. We found it a bit abrasive and too much. We also found his voice to be too monotone and unenthusiastic. We cannot fault the quantity of information or the ability to answer questions, we just didn’t like the vibe and he seemed a bit “over it” a lot of the time. The lunch options were so-so, take some snacks, and maximize your bathroom breaks. You don’t get a ton of time at most of the sites, there’s a lot to see. As a history lover I will go back but with more time and comfort I’d say. Overall we saw a lot and his knowledge is pretty encyclopedic so we give it mixed reviews and hope the noted areas for improvement help others and the company. Thank you.
