Pass by

America's oldest College from 1637. George Washington used the old dorms to garrison his officers during the Siege of Boston after the Battle of Bunker Hill.

Pass by

Washington's Headquarters on Brattle Street (Tory Row) is where the general planned out over several months the Siege of Boston.

45 min

Battle Green is the oldest military burial site in America, where 77 brave Minutemen under command of Captain John Parker were gunned down on the morning of April 19, 1775 that would lead to the American Revolution and birth of a new nation.

45 min

Operated by the Town of Lexington, there is a battle diorama and other displays depicting the events of that fateful morning of April 19, 1775 when 77 Minutemen faced off against 700 Redcoats, leading to the American Revolution. New for 2025: Visit the new adjacent Town of Lexington history museum, open in time for America's 250th Birthday, a 2 year extravaganza.

Mixed Review: bad pick up spot, snarky but knowledgeable guide

We have to give this tour mixed reviews, for both the logistics and the guide, Coach. The positive: Coach definitely knows a lot about both history and anything Boston. He can answer any question and the route includes a lot of sites (mostly pass-bys, but still a lot to see). We liked the concord bridge as well as the concord museum the most. Our main complaints were 1) the small van seats are not comfortable at all (too upright, not enough legroom) and you can’t really see that much if you’re toward the back. 2) The pick up spot was bad news, it was State Transportation Building and you wait outside on a sidewalk where we had unhoused people harassing us pretty badly including racial slurs and more, and you’re just waiting there alone. 3) The guide, named Coach, is often quite funny, but sometimes kind of mean and bitterly sarcastic. We found it a bit abrasive and too much. We also found his voice to be too monotone and unenthusiastic. We cannot fault the quantity of information or the ability to answer questions, we just didn’t like the vibe and he seemed a bit “over it” a lot of the time. The lunch options were so-so, take some snacks, and maximize your bathroom breaks. You don’t get a ton of time at most of the sites, there’s a lot to see. As a history lover I will go back but with more time and comfort I’d say. Overall we saw a lot and his knowledge is pretty encyclopedic so we give it mixed reviews and hope the noted areas for improvement help others and the company. Thank you.

Talk about fantastic guides. Coach was the best.

YOU MUST GET COACH FOR YOUR TOUR GUIDE. He was excellent. The whole reason why I am giving this a 5 rating. He did not stop once in his sharing of knowledge and sharing his charming humor with you. He is now my measurement of the best guide I have ever had.

Operator response

Fantastic! I will let Coach know you had a great tour Thank you

Over packed van

Tour guide was very good keeping us entertained while at the same time providing interesting historical information. However unfortunately they had 14 passengers in a van that should hold a maximum of 10 which made the travel extremely uncomfortable.

Operator response

This is the first time we've had a complaint about the vehicle that has seating for 14 passengers. When the guide texted me during the tour that you were uncomfortable, I immediately texted you that a full refund would be issued with our apologies. No other passengers noted an issue.
