Great guide, it was very informative and entertaining. We all had a lot of fun and we got a nice overview. It was exactly what we imagined.
Very informative, competent, personal, incredibly entertaining Great guided tour through the passages and alleys
Anna was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide on our tour around the old town in Leipzig. She shared interesting historical information about the city, and details, such as where to see gold bricks in the cobblestones to commemorate those who died in the war, the statues, images in the St Thomas church, and faces on the facades of buildings and their meanings. We were able to see buildings that survived during the war and ways to determine if they were rebuilds. Anna also showed us photos of areas from the past as she explained many interesting details. If you wish to learn about the history and buildings of Leipzig, I highly recommend this tour. Note: we booked the English tour and Anna shared that she is a local and a history teacher too! Thank you so much, Anna!
Excellent Tour with Enthusiastic Guide. Dirk showed interesting sides of the city. He gave a great overview and didn't let the rainy weather dampen his good mood.
Wonderful town square with a deep musical history and recent political history in 1989 focusing on the fall of communism.
We had a wonderful, entertaining, informative city tour. Would book it the same again!!
Unexcited personable. Route well selected. Competent information provided. Can highly recommend. Sunday morning was ideal!
Dirk led us very knowledgeably and entertainingly to the most important sights in the center of Leipzig. The mixture of historical details and amusing anecdotes was so entertaining that time flew by. Highly recommended.
Dirk is an excellent guide. He imparted a lot of knowledge to us and cleared up some errors about Leipzig. I have participated in some guided tours of the city, but the one with Dirk was really the best, most informative and fun.
Despite wet cold November weather, Dirk offered us a sunny tour with exciting stories. As a Leipziger he was well informed about the city and could also give us some useful gastronomic tips on the way.
