On arrival in the Bavarian town (Leavenworth), you’ll have two hours for lunch (own expense) with free time to explore. The German town - Leavenworth has more than 90 shops, each with a unique style including wine shops and art galleries. There are also many restaurants operating German-style cuisines, such as the German village of Schweinshaxe, German sausage, and Munich beer, which has won the tourists' favor.

Forthermore, Visit the 14 ft tall wood carving of Harry Henderson from the movie `Harry and the Henderson's' ' (actual film location) and scouting tips for photography enthusiasts. Grab your gourmet coffee & espresso drinks (own expense) enjoy the spectacular 265-foot waterfall and panoramic views of the Skykomish River Valley.
There is a cool caboose located here, and this location also serves as an entrance to the Iron Goat Trail, a former railroad that has been converted into a high quality trail. This is a gentle walk along the old Great Northern railroad grade built over the Cascades in 1893.
Steven pass is a medium sized ski resort with 10 ski lifts (10 chair lifts, 1 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 549 metres (1800 feet) of vertical descent. Stevens Pass has 1124 acres of terrain over 37 trails. Stevens Pass is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers

Deception Falls
Deception Falls is a great stop for a quick stretch of the legs as you drive over Stevens Pass. The highlight is the tumbling, multi-tiered waterfall and its distinctive 90 degree turn the creek makes at a stop along the way.

Bavarian Alps.
Showing us most of the parks in Seattle and the county, friends decided to surprise us with the Bavarian Alps and a Bavarian village and German cuisine. Leavenworth is a festival town. On a fairly compact territory sterilized in German style with non-repeating houses, a variety of restaurants and cafes with a wide range of world cuisines, many shops and craft stores, we had an aesthetic and culinary orgasm. And the air here is impossible to breathe. Spending just one day in Leavenworth, we were energized as if we had spent a week on the warm southern coast. Many festivals are held here, but there were none when we arrived, which is a pity. Parking the car is something you have to try to find a spot. Unforgettable impressions from the visit.

This was a fun trip, with...
This was a fun trip, with Silas as both our driver and tour guide. We made a few stops along the way to Leavenworth; Silas shared lots of great information as well as a few fun facts. Leavenworth is a lovely and quaint little town. If you're a foodie, there are many eateries to choose from. I ate at Yodelin and was not disappointed. Yum! There are also lots of cute shops in town, and there's also a beautiful park. Leavenworth is definitely a family friendly town and you will enjoy your time there.

Great day, beautiful scenery & quaint village all in one!
Silias was amazing, knowledgeable & full of information. We loved our day spent with him. My husband sat in the front seat with Silias because of bad knees, & commented several times how safe a driver Silias is, AND, his driving didn't make him nervious, ( husband is normally a terrible front seat passenger ).

Refund
My trip was cancelled due the weather - fires existing in nearby I have been trying to get a refund through the tour company - they have vacillated between “asking for information id given the “ and ultimately told me to get in touch with you I want to be sure to say that this year I have purchased tours in two different occasions - r total - and have been extremely pleased But it has taken me a month and I still haven’t got my refund from from this one trip - I didn’t cancel they cancelled

Waterfalls and Leavenworth
Our trip to Leavenworth was fantastic. Mehrdad, our driver/guide, was great. He took us to see waterfalls that we would never have found if he hadn’t walked us there. He knew the good angles for photos and had some good lines to make us laugh. Another hour at Leavenworth would have been nice but then we may not have had time to see the additional sights such as the tiny church. Highly recommend.

Our guide was wonderful....
Our guide was wonderful. We stopped and took pictures with Harry from Harry and the Hendersons on the way to Leavenworth. We also checked out Deception Falls. While in Leavenworth, we checked out Bären Haus for lunch. Come hungry! The portions are huge. Leavenworth is a drive outside of Seattle but worth it. Thanks again to Silas for being an awesome guide.

Great tour, great guide
I enjoyed the trip. We had 3 1/2 hours to explore Leavenworth, which was more than what I expected. Our driver/tour guide, Silas was very nice and polite and a good guide in my opinion.
