SUPER EXPERIENCE ... !!️
Fortunately, we were only two participants and what can I say, it was gigantic. Our guide RAYAN has made the trip an unforgettable experience for us. We'll give it 11 out of 10!
Well, the ice fishing itself was more of a tourist show performance, but the food together at Kota and the subsequent snowmobile tour were gigantic! Thank you RAYAN!

Too bad.
The experience did not fully satisfy me since in the description there is that you walk and fish, there was only the latter. The guides are friendly and the salmon was very good.

Ice fishing in Lapland
An activity worth doing for how different and entertaining it is. You break the ice of an icy lake yourself, in an incredible environment, you are fed a freshly grilled salmon that they cook themselves and if you are lucky you still catch something 😛!! The best our guide Claudia, who besides being with us helping us at all times was telling us curiosities of life in Lapland and made the day very fun for all of us who were there. We were of different nationalities and thanks to its 3 languages English, French and Spanish we were all super comfortable. Thank you so much for everything Claudia!!!

Mixed feeling
Feeling is quite mixed. I would go through some of the tour parts:
1). The tour check-in was terrible. I had been waiting 15 mins before the designated time and waited further 15 mins. Still my name wasn’t called. The office was chaotic. Everyone on different tours were all packed inside. The guide would just yell names to see if they get someone on their list. In my case, fortunately I am cautious enough to ask. The tour guide was checking in wrong names, so then I was able to catch up. If i have not been asking I missed the tour.
2). Ice fishing part - fun at first, but you have to endure the -20 degrees. Besides, the chance of getting a fish is so low. The experience is more like getting a picture of you doing the fishing more than getting a real fish. So this part doesn’t last long and i guess our guide knows it and he’s kind enough to guide us to the meal.
3). Memorable part - Salmon cooked in fire. That’s a real delicacy. And the smoked mashmallow was a bonus.
If you haven’t done ice fishing before i would recommend it. But in January don’t place your expectation high. Chill and relax, just as our guide said.
Overall, i hated the part they checked in guests. That chaos should not have happened. That’s how i rated.

NOTHING RECOMMENDABLE
Great guide but regrettable company that constantly changes schedules and / cancel activities with little time so that leaves you with no alternative options for that day.Nothing recommended. There are local companies that are sure to be much better and will have the same tours. Our experience was terrible for the unseriousness of the company in many aspects although I admit that the guides were charming and tried to help with all the problems to look for solution.

Dear X2013TNdavdg,
Thank you for your review.
We believe your review does not reflect the full situation and is unfair to our team.
You informed us of your change of mind at 23:00, just hours before the tour, which is outside our business hours. Naturally, we could not accept such a last-minute adjustment.
We kindly suggest avoiding last-minute changes in future travels to ensure a smooth experience. Thank you for your feedback.

Great Experience
The guide picked us up at our hotel, and stopped by the office in the city centre to change into thermal suits and picked up the snow shoes. We then went to a lake 30 minutes away for the ice fishing and snow shoeing. It was the first time snow shoeing for us, and it was fun, mainly it helped us to walk easier as that day the snow was quite thick, without the snow shoes, it could go up to our knees. The guide taught us how to ice fish, from drilling holes to using a rod. And we were really lucky that day, we managed to catch a fish!
Afterwards, we had grilled salmon and marshmallow in a tent, the salmon was quite good, just that 1 salmon out of the 6 we got was burnt and could not really be eaten. Still, we were satisfied with this trip :)

Something fun to do !
Activity combining icefishing and a 20 minutes snowshoe walk in the woods, lunch by the fire with salmon/bread and marshmallows.
Informative training on how to drill the ice and fish. Nice staffs. From my understanding, it's rather rare to catch fish. More like a fun try. Duration a bit long though.
Operator response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the combination of ice fishing, the snowshoe walk, and lunch by the fire. It’s always wonderful to know our guests appreciate the efforts of our team and the unique activities we offer.
You’re right that catching a fish can be rare—it does depend a bit on luck! That said, there are certainly times when our guests succeed, and we hope you still enjoyed learning the process and giving it a try.
