Planning of the park began in October 1997. Construction began in October 1998, and Millennium Park was opened in a ceremony on July 16, 2004, four years behind schedule. We had a great experience and learned many facts about Chicago
We started with one of the sites giving us a wrong address. It was only a few doors off. The tour guide was a few minutes late and the training area was on the busy sidewalk which slowed the process down. By the time the tour was ready to roll the Weather Channel was calling for storms in the time we would be out. I told the man at the desk but he said it would only be raining for 10 minutes according to Accuweather. We were only out about 15 minutes before we were in a rain storm. We all got very wet. It was even lightning. We returned quickly back to the stop. Still waiting for a refund!!!
Great tour guide (Marty was the best!), lovely views, and we got great instruction and safety reviews. Highly recommend!
Terrific tour with Marty. He was knowledgeable, funny and energetic. A great way to see the city! Took in so much in only 2 hours. Highly recommend!
This actually never happened because, the day before, they called to cancel our tour. There apparently is only one guide and he called off? They did try to reschedule us but we were only in town a couple days and the rest of our time was packed. Pretty disappointing.
Party Marty was my tour guide. He is a born and raised local and gave me such an intimate trip. I left feeling like I got to see a good bit of the city and unearthed local lore I wouldn’t have found through anyone else. By the end of it our day felt more like riding bikes with a friend than a tour. Thanks again Marty.
Matt was great. Knowledgeable about the spots in the area. Did a great job training my daughter and keeping tabs on everyone.
I did this experience with a large group of friends and it was a great experience riding segways for the first time! The tour was perfectly schedued so we could get comfortable with riding and also take pictures along the way. Bike and Roll had excellent customer service throughout the entire process, before booking and afterwards. Would highly recommend!
If you've never been on a Segway before its so easy to learn and so much fun once you do. We learnt so much about the City and truly enjoyed the experience. The ride was so much fun!
Amazing experience. Great guide with lots of information about Chicago, flexibility to react to needs e.g. photo stops and fun included. Thanks for this great experience. Weather was certainly in our favor.
