Itinerary
After meeting your guide at your hotel, airport or residence within Nairobi CBD at 6:00am, start your journey to Nakuru. While en route, stop at the Great Riff Valley view point where you will attain magnificent views of the escarpments. Arrive at Lake Nakuru by 9:00am, completing the 3-hour drive. Upon your arrival, start the 3-hour game drive with your guide and part. Break for lunch at a local restaurant . Depart the park at approximately 3:00pm and head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride {OPTIONAL}. While on the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, and hippo viewing. Once your boat ride comes to an end, return to the dock. Begin the drive to Nairobi for a 6:00pm arrival and get dropped off at your hotel, airport or residence within Nairobi CBD.

It was an interesting tour with Kelvin our guide. We saw Framingoes , lion , buffalo, leopard ,zebras , many birds.

The good: The animals are amazing and we enjoyed the boat ride to see hippos. The okay: Our guide(s) were average, offering some information on the animals. They were good drivers on the rough roads. However, they didn’t offer any information about the schedule (lunch wasn’t until 2:30 and they didn’t say anything until we asked). When we got in the van at 6 am the main driver Shem was playing loud music that we had to ask three times to turn down. Play music, sure, but not so loud at 6 am. Later in the day when he wasn’t driving (the other driver was) he watched TikTok videos on his phone at full volume. The bad: this tour advertises flamingos but you won’t see them, as the algae has made it inhabitable. We know that animal sightings aren’t guaranteed, just don’t say that in your promotion. Our guides never mentioned this, but we learned from a different tour. The roads are rough. This tour would be better done on a Jeep. The van rattled from the roads and it was a rough ride at parts. This isn’t the fault of the tour, just a heads up. The drivers did well managing the roads and trying to avoid the potholes. The included lunch is not worth it — when we arrived at the restaurant/gift shop we were escorted to a small buffet area with about four food options of rice, potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a questionable looking chicken dish. No drinks were provided. We ended up buying something at the restaurant. So yes, while lunch is included, don’t expect much. Overall, it was a long day on rough roads. We had some great lion viewing and seeing hippos. Know that the boat ride costs $30 USD and must be paid in cash.

I was picked on time . My guide briefed me on the day and our first stop was great riftvalley view, lake Nakuru , lunch ,lake Naivasha and all was well. Highly recommend Nivlek Tours

Our main thing was to see the Rhino. Kelvin made sure we saw it . He expkained all the details about the animal. Highly reccomend the tour.

We had the best time on the tour! Kelvin was truly such a great guide. He picked us up right on time, is very engaging, a great driver and just an overall kind person. He also gave us a lot of background information about the locations, nature and the animals. We really wanted to see Lions, and he was considerate in helping to find them. Luckily, he spotted some! We also got back to Nairobi in good time. I would highly recommend this tour :)

Recently, I took a tour to Lake Nakuru with my fiancée, which we booked through Nivlek Tours. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience. We wanted to see the leopard , flamingos. Kelvin tried his best by making sure we saw them. He is knowledgeable and knew where to take us . We were glad we saw so many animals. Highly recommend the tour.
