My husband Matteo and I had an absolutely superb boat tour on Lake Como with Alessandro and we can’t stop raving about it! From the very beginning, Alessandro was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He picked us up from our hotel’s private pier with perfect timing, ensuring we felt welcomed and relaxed straight away. His preparation and local knowledge were evident throughout the tour. He shared fascinating stories and insights about the villas, towns, and majestic landscapes lining the lake, making every moment deeply enriching. The boat itself was a delightful retreat: comfortable, elegant, and the perfect setting for our journey. At the end of the tour, Alessandro surprised us with a bottle of wine. It was a warm and memorable gesture that added a lovely finale to our cruise. To make the experience even more seamless, he dropped us off right in front of the restaurant we were planning to enjoy lunch at. It was such a thoughtful way to wrap up our time on the water. Booked the 3 hours tour. Alessandro took care of the closest meeting point to our hotel. In addition, he always had an eye on the upcoming weather. Due to rain in the morning, we have moved our tour to the afternoon, which was no problem for him. He is a very experienced skipper and knows a lot about the lake, the history and the buildings around. He can also take good photos and knows the best spots. We can recommend him without reservation. Our boat tour with Alex was amazing and something we will never forget! Alex was very easy to communicate with leading up to the tour and even let us add an extra hour. His boat is beautiful and extremely well maintained. Once on the boat, Alex asked us what we wanted to experience and identified two perfect spots to swim. Along the tour he had great stories about the different villas and clearly knew the history of the lake. Alex also offered to take photos of us and they all came out great. The towels and Prosecco he provided were an added bonus. I really can’t say enough good things about Alex, his boat and the tour!!!
