It was a lovely day, the guide was informative, they gave us plenty of time to explore or sit and have a bite. The boat ride to the lake was fun, the island is super small. Later, we went to the castle and ate bled cake. Overall, a very nice day.

Our guide ("George") was excellent. He was very personable, pleasant and had an excellent knowledge of the area of the tour and Slovenia itself and its history. We thoroughly enjoyed the castle (and traditional cake served in the café). The scenery was stunning especially as the day was so sunny. Being rowed to the island in a traditional boat also made our trip memorable.

The trip to Lake Bled from Ljubljana went very smoothly. David, our guide, was excellent. Very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. It is an advantage to go on a trip there as early as possible, as Bled quite rightly is a very popular destination. The lake is beautiful, and rates in my book my up there with Lake Louise in Canada

This half day trip was well worth it. Lake Bled is a fairy tale setting. The boat ride is fun, although it felt a bit quick. The scenery both coming, going, and around the lake is stunning. We had a nice group of 7 in our van. The guide was very informative about Slovenia and the history of the area. Everyone take the tour at least once!

What a beautiful town Bled is. The tour guide Veronica was terrific. The views were stunning.
Bled is truly iconic—that tiny island set against the backdrop of the Julian Alps and the cliffside castle looks like something straight out of a fairytale. Having a knowledgeable guide like Veronika makes all the difference when taking in the history and hidden spots around the lake.
