Itinerary
La Tomatina is a famous annual festival held in the town of Buñol, near Valencia, Spain. It takes place on the last Wednesday of August and is often referred to as "the world's biggest food fight." The highlight of the event involves participants throwing ripe tomatoes at each other in a spirited and messy celebration.
After an exhilarating morning at La Tomatina, there’s nothing better than a relaxing escape to the coast for a leisurely lunch by the beach. Head to one of the nearby Mediterranean shores, such as Valencia’s Playa de la Malvarrosa, just an hour’s drive from Buñol. As you arrive, the salty sea breeze and the gentle sound of waves provide the perfect contrast to the chaos of the morning. Choose a cozy beachside restaurant or Chiringuito (beach bar) where you can enjoy classic Spanish cuisine.

Excellent event and very well-organized trip. When the event is a highlight of Spanish culture and an occasion to set free, the meticulously planned trip was marred by some cultural imperfections (rudeness) by one or two of the admins in the trip!
Hi Andre Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. Our tour gudies take a direct honest and sassy approach, rather than rude. A small cultural difference some people are not used too! Glad to hear you had a great time at La Tomatina. Cheers
La Tomatina with Stoke Travel was one of the wildest and most memorable days I’ve ever had in Spain. From the moment we got on the bus in Barcelona, the energy was high and the team made sure everyone knew what to expect. The event itself is absolutely insane in the best way possible. Stoke’s setup made it smooth and stress free with transport, organization, and guides who kept the vibe fun and safe. Be prepared to get completely drenched and covered in tomatoes from head to toe. Bring clothes you don’t care about, goggles if you can, and a good sense of humor. It’s chaotic, hilarious, and a little overwhelming at times, but that’s part of the magic. Highly recommend going with Stoke if you want to experience Tomatina the right way. They handled all the logistics so we could focus on having an incredible time with friends.
not recommended if you have knee problems long walk stairs more than 200 steps other than that it’s fun to remember the rest of your life
