In Eden Chocolate Tour you'll experience an hour and 45 minutes tour. A first part is held in our cocoa organic plantation where the visitor can see the cocoa flower, the cocoa trees, the fermentation and sun-dried process of the cocoa beans. A second part is inside the Ranch where the visitor can roast and grind the cocoa beans; also the conching and refining process of the chocolate. At the end, the visitor can make his own chocolate bonbons.

The tour was very varied and informative. The plantation grows three different varieties of cacao beans and is an organic plantation. Our guide, Nellson, also told us a lot about the history of cacao, and we got to make pralines and even try a special cacao drink. We would definitely take the tour again.
It was an incredible experience!!!! It was very, very fun and the guide, Porfi, was super attentive and very fun! A very nice way to learn about chocolate and to taste it too 🤤
Highly recommended! 🍫🤎 A very entertaining and complete experience. We learned a lot about the whole cocoa process, we participated in the preparation, and we tried many combinations of chocolate with different toppings. In addition, we made our own chocolates to take home 🥰 And a special mention to César, who made the experience even better. We did the chocolate tour a few days ago, it was a very interesting experience. Our guide Porfi not only taught us many things about cacao and its process, but he also got a few laughs and even a few dances out of us! 100% recommended experience!

Amazing chocolate tour with Nelson! We walkes through the grounds and saw the differwnt chocolate plants, saw several toucans too! We learned the history of chocolate and had an amazing time dancing to the beat of the drums as we prepared the chocolate in the traditional way. Highly recommend

What a brilliant experience. I was so confused by all the different tours and now I’m so pleased we chose this one. Nelson was a wonderful host, and the whole experience from arrival to departure was perfect. A walk through the organic farm, to cutting open the pod, to cracking open cacao etc etc 90mins flew by and our 13yr olds were interested throughout. Oh and the chocolates we made are delicious!

We did this chocolate tour as a group of seven. We had grandparents down to grandkids (ages 5 and 8), and it worked well for everyone, one of our favorite guided tours of the trip. Our guide, César, was informative the whole way through. He had us curious and laughing, singing and chanting for most of the tour. So fun. We ended up being the only group that afternoon, which made it feel more like someone showing you around his farm than a tour. Highly recommend.

This was so fun and our tour guide, Norman, was so knowledgeable and lovely. We even got to see a sloth during this experience. We learnt about the history of cacao and made some of our own chocolates. Definitely worth doing if you’re visiting La Fortuna

This tour was amazing. We learn a lot about the process of making both coffee and chocolate. The tour guide was awesome. Nelson was truly authentic and very engaging and he did lovely tastings of coffee and chocolate. I highly recommend it if you want to experience the true way of life of the Costa Rica people Pura vida Alvaro, Andrea and sofia.
