Right under the square in the old town, this is a very interesting museum and well worth a visit. Looks at the archeological finds from earlier times when the square was several meters lower than today. Don’t bother paying for a guide as everything is clearly labelled and well displayed. Keep your larger bags out as you may be asked to store them in the lockers first.

Very nice museum, I would prefer to book a ticket with a guide. Sometimes there are performances during the day with the history of Krakow (in Polish, but it's also interesting to see)! It also has short videos with English subtitles and very interesting stories!

Nice museum, plenty of interesting exhibits. Well worth a visit of you have a spare hour. Located in the centre of the old town (underground) so easily accessible. Good price, good value for money.
