Kobe : Customizable Private Tour w/ Local Student Guide

What a great tour with Kodai. He took great care of us and was very enthusiastic. His English was outstanding and we understood everything. I knew even before the tour that we were going to have a great experience. He was in touch with us and coordinated the start time to accommodate our arrival by ship into Kobe. Kodai gave us a very authentic view and experience of Kobe. His guided tour of the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum was fantastic. He took us through a street with local food vendors and recommended dishes to try.

Kodai was an exceptional guide - knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful. It was a great experience and highly recommended.

Kodai was an incredible guide. He is charming, knowledgeable and friendly. We not only enjoyed a customised tour of Kobe but also learned so much about Japanese culture, history and daily life. We cannot recommend Kodai enough! 5 🌟 all the way!!

Kodai was fantastic in taking me to a local food street. He was professional and patient with all the questions I had for food vendors. We spent 3 hours browsing many food stalls and eating along the way. English was excellent. The historic tour of the city was done well. Highly recommend Kodai!!

Our guide was pleasant and her English was very good. I did feel we gave time to places that were not as interesting. We went to local market which was very small with a lot of shops closed, perhaps chinatwon would be nicer. The same museum was nice. By the time we got to see Eropean houses it was almost end of tour as all attractions were far away from each other, it would be better planned to do it all near each other. When we asked to stop at cafe for quick snack it was another place not even on the way, so again wasting time and it had limited options. Our guide could have also explained more, we had to constantly ask questions. Overall, I regretted doing this tour as we missed out on other activities. Should have been closer together.

First of all great service and flexibility. We wanted to make some changes the night before the meeting and they helped us great. Our guide knew a lot of the city being a Japanese citizen and student of Kobe. This was our fourth city so we were really interested in the way the build shrines and visted the beautiful carpenter museum. Shunta assisted us fantastic and dropped us at the end at a great ramen place. Top!

I had a wonderful time in Kobe! Kodai was a great guide. He answered all of my questions and I not only larned a lot about Kobe, but about Japan in general.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience! Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and remarkably patient throughout our time exploring. They were especially wonderful with our kids—going completely above and beyond to tailor stops and discover great local spots based on my son's passion for Pokémon. Navigating everything felt effortless, personal, and fun. I couldn't recommend this service enough to anyone looking for a thoughtful, customized local tour experience. Thank you to Shota, Risako, and Koda for such a great time in Japan!

I had a really great time on this tour! Kodai was wonderful. He showed me all around Kobe and his English was excellent. I had a blast and the food was very good.

We had a great tour through Kobe with our guide Satori. All the places we suggested were taken into account and we learned a lot of interesting facts.
