Kintsugi Workshop "The art of Imperfection"

Description
The Kintsugi workshop is unique as it explores the age-old Japanese art of repairing. Instead of concealing flaws, Kintsugi accentuates and celebrates them, transforming the restored piece into a unique and beautiful work of art. Participants not only acquire a craft skill but also gain a valuable lesson in embracing imperfections and discovering beauty in resilience.

The Kintsugi workshop was a great experience. Puzzling and slowly creating something beautiful and unique. The location is very interesting and Annelies is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Annelies was very nice and welcoming. We had a fun time learning about kintsugi and will definitely be applying it to something at home. She had items that we broke for the activity and it proabablyneoukdve been fun to bring one of our own to fix. Definitely would recommend!
Karen, Thank you for your positive review and your recommendation. It was a pleasure to see you working with such focus, resulting in a beautiful final outcome. Kind regards, Annelies
Attended the Kintsugi workshop with Annelies Nuy in Amsterdam. Annelies is a arrogant artist who thinks she is "mindful" but she is anything but, thinking she is superior to others. She made totally inappropriate remarks, raised her voice and ruined the entire experience. We left the workshop in full frustration...
Thank you for your feedback. I understand that the situation was frustrating for you and that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our workshops are specifically designed for adults, partly due to the use of sharp shards and high-quality materials. The booking was made for two people, but you arrived with three, including a child. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate this without compromising the safety and experience of the other participants. It was never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but rather to ensure that the workshop ran smoothly and safely for everyone. I regret that this was perceived as unpleasant and hope that you will find an experience elsewhere that better suits your needs.
Great workshop in a really cool, creative setting with a supportive environment and teacher. Enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it!
I surprised my girlfriend with this workshop for her birthday and it was the perfect experience! Annelies gave a lot of guidance throughout and we came away with some really great results too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique creative activity and with steady hands ;)
It was an amazing experience learn and work with Annelies. She is a very heartwarming person and makes the art experience in Italy very special. She gives you the space to develop your on creativity. You totally explore a creative side of yourself. The kintsugi workshop was a very inspiring workshop. Destroying and healing a piece was special. The golden glue is a beautiful detail in your own art. I can highly recommend a workshop with Annelies. She inspires you and makes the day a special one. Enjoy the time!
Thank you, Anna. It was great having you in the group. You are talented and have a beautiful drive.
I enjoyed the workshop. A wonderful location and we have been great introduced to the workshop. Annelise is an inspiring person. Thanks!
"Thank you, Henrieke. It's beautiful to see the depth in your work. You have a unique style."
Atmosphere was very nice, teacher is very creative and knowledgable. We started off with a very beautiful interlude where she connected this Kintsugi technique with innergrowth, which gave the piece we worked on soul. “The cracks become golden scars” she said, this really touched me as it makes you look different at “scars” ;) thanks for this amazing experience!
Thank you, Naomi. With your precision and insight, it has become a very stylish piece.
We had high expectations of the workshop but never would have thought it was so much fun. You start with smashing plates, or a vase, or some cup and saucer into pieces which is sensational to do, although a bit scary too. How to put those pieces together again?! But it works. Thanks to Annelies who told us to be patient and careful, but also to not be afraid of the imperfections in life. So, yes, indeed, we had some new valuable insights too! Not only about the art of imperfection, but also, for instance, what scars could mean. It gives you for sure a different look at things around you in daily life. And to have an eye for the beauty in common things.
Thanks Wieteke. You did a great job.
Annelies is very kind, very friendly and easy-going, she makes you feel immediately at ease and guides you in this unique art. Highly recommended (Good knowledge of English is recommended)
Grazie per le tue gentili parole, un buon incentivo per continuare con le mie lezioni di Italiano.
