Kilimanjaro 360

We had made a 17-day tour with a carefree package. It gt around the Kili - dabn on Mt. Meru and from there across Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater. The trip was perfectly organized from the beginning (pick up at the airport) to the end. The guides (2) read all the wishes from our eyes and were very flexible even with spontaneous wishes. In addition to the varied bike route, we also learned a lot about the wildlife and the people. Everywhere we were greeted most friendly. In addition to the top guides, we had a 5-star chef with us, who not only conjured up an art wwrk from every meal, but also for the eye. Rounding out the fairytale journey were a photographer with an eye for the essentials and a great driver, who also took care of our well-being by the way.

Cycling on wilderness, cultuIf you want to experience the sheer scale of Mount Kilimanjaro but prefer two wheels over trekking poles, the Kili 360 tour with Kili Bike Adventures is an absolute must. Circumnavigating the world's tallest free-standing mountain on a bike was challenging, deeply rewarding, and incredibly diverse. Every single day brought a complete shift in scenery. We rode through lush coffee and banana plantations on the southern slopes, transitioned into the rugged, arid acacia plains of Maasai land to the west (where we actually spotted wildlife!), pedaled up to the edge of the Rongai forest, and camped by the stunning volcanic crater of Lake Chala. The team at Kili Bike Adventures was top-notch. Our guides were amazing pacesetters and full of local insight, the support vehicle was always right there when we needed a hydration top-off, and the mechanics kept our mountain bikes running flawlessly through mixed dirt, gravel, and tarmac. The camp food cooked up by the crew was outstanding and exactly what we needed after 60–70 km days in the saddle. It’s physically demanding, but mentally one of the most refreshing adventures I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Both Roy and Richard were very professional and very polite. They both always had a smile on their faces and always looked to give us the very best experience. We were quite lucky to have Richard all to ourselves and he curated a unique tour specifically to what we wanted. Highly recommend.

I made an ascent of Kilimanjaro with my mountain bike over 5 days. The company was great, always quick to respond to my questions by whatsapp during the planning stage. My team on the hill were very attentive and helpful, and the food was amazing! My guide Gaspar, also on a bike is a super nice guy and very informative. His second in command, Wilson was amazing also. So strong and keen to help me, nothing was too much trouble. It was a great adventure......Many thanks for making it run so smoothly.

Booked and fully paid for a Kili 360 tour in advance and then Roy cancelled and kept nearly all the money. He promised to pay back, I have given him many chances over many months. I’m so disappointed. Over US$2,000 lost. Don’t trust him with prepaid tours. Very carefully read all recent positive reviews for authenticity. I chose another tour operator in Moshi - they were so brilliant I returned to cycle to the summit. Awesome.

I had such a great time on this tour. My teammates were two wonderful guys from Germany and we all had fun. Our accommodations were wonderful and the food was so good. We loved the porters and one of them even taught me some new dance moves! Roy and his team organized and incredible experience for us and I will definitely be recommending this tour to my biking community here in Colorado. Jill.

Outstanding planning, communication and fantastic support on the rides. The rides were hard and great fun. The accommodations and Camping sites were beyond expectation. Everything about this tour was memorable.

My wife and our boys ages 15 and 18 went on this tour. Most of it is on fabulous bike paths. Occasionally you have to bike through villages on roads and places with a lot of local people. The tour leader George was fantastic and had intimate knowledge of the communities and sights along the bike routes. His personal connections provided unique experiences that would otherwise have been missed :) The views are great, lots of places to stop to explore, spot some wild animals at West Kilimanjaro and just a walk through marangu and masai villages. We found that it took a lot of the day just to bike and we didn't have as much time as we had liked for playing and exploring. The distances for each day depend on what villages you're staying in. Overall a really good experience for the whole family.

We customized the tour to meet the skill level of our private group. It was a great way to see and ride around Mt Kilimanjaro. Great support from the Kili Bike team to plan and get ready for our first ever cycling trip, quality and well maintained bikes and excellent tour leaders on the ground who paid attention to rider needs every day!. Our tour leaders were all sports enthusiasts, well educated and knowledgeable about the history, wildlife, culture, food and people of their County.
