Kefalos Sunset Cruise from Kos with Dinner

We wanted to try something different for one of our evenings during our stay in Kos and we chose this cruise. We didn't use the transfer as our hotel was very close to the port and we decided to walk there. We had a really nice time, relaxing cruise, swimming, BBQ on the beach, Greek music, beautiful sunset..Overall a great evening! 😊

The sunset was good, unfortunately that's the only good thing. We received what was advertised, boat trip (crammed with people, strong smell of diesal) private 'pebbly' beach, not pebbles but rocks, very hard under the feet and slippery, even with swim shoes. BBQ, mezzie was a bit of tomato, a slice of dry bread and 3 overcooked meatballs - unless you were vegetarian or gluten intolerant in which case the meatballs were replaced with olives! Main was salad, which was nice, and 3 overcooked, dry kebabs and zsatiki, the free drink was orange squash. The crew and TUI rep were a waste of space. The one guy who 'taught' the Greek dancing was the liveliest, he had his favourites, we witnessed a glass of wine sold for 3 euro and 4 glasses given free to another person. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this trip, over priced, over filled and over sold by the TUI rep. I like to finish on a positive, the sunset was lovely and we made it back.

Opportunity for swimming while stopped for barbecue, 2 hours to relax, swim and explore. Barbecue plentiful and tasty. Watching the sunset from the boat was ok with lots of photo opportunities. Good but not sure I would have chosen those as a sunset experience. Crew were great though!

Great fun, Wonderful hospitality Tasty food Magnificent sunset, shame we didn’t catch fish! But would highly recommend the evening.

Was a lovely afternoon/evening. Staff on board were super welcoming and friendly. Food was good and the beach they took us to was pebbly beach and very peaceful. I would advice to bring a spare warm clothes as it does get chilly during sunset and on the way back to the shore. I would also recommend suitable footwear for pebbled beach howvevr the captain does have ladders on board for those who would prefer to get in the sea via them. Overall was a fab experience and relaxing evening. Greek dancing was icing on the cake.

Please don’t go everyone was complaining . 10 min trip to a really horrible beach with some kind of structure where you ate not nice at all . Food appalling tiny amount of horrible meat stale bread and chicken raw . Wine ha was given a shot glass ! . Stayed at this beach far too long the captain then teaches Greek dance to pad out the time ! He’s a ego maniac note a show off joking at other people’s exspense . All back on the boat to go see the sunset except we’re waiting for him to get on bobbing about bored with no wine , he’s back Opa he’s shouting everyone is miserable and bored withhim needing his ego stroked , there he goes again dancing again with his board captive Audience it’s painful . We are approached by several people complaining we all just can’t wait to get off. Off to sea sunset yeh nice but it’s freezu and we’re thirsty I stay there far too long . So please don’t put you’re through this horrible day save your money .

Very good experience, the guide was very entertaining, the dancing was good fun and the BBQ was very good. A good day out but a very long journey back to our Hotel.

An island somewhat forgotten by mass tourism, it keeps the promises of the most classic Greek islands. Part of the island is still wild. Particular witnessing the sunset
