With the world-renowned and historic destination of Kealakekua Bay just minutes from our point of departure, the Captain Cook Exclusive is a personal, exciting, and efficient way to see the Bay named one of the world’s best snorkeling locations. Kealakekua Bay is a 315-acre marine sanctuary that boasts incredibly protected waters year round making it the best place in Hawaii for beginning snorkelers. After a full hour of snorkeling in the crystal clear waters directly in front of the monument to Captain James Cook, you make your way back to Keauhou Bay along the South Kona coastline. Your Captain maneuvers our custom-made vessels into the sea caves at the base of Hualalai, hugging the coast and detailing the culturally significant and geologically fascinating features along the way. Watch for dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and even herds of thousands of goats! If you plan on snorkeling while in Hawaii and want to see what few do, this is the tour for you.

Captain Bee and crew were great. On our way out she spotted some spinner dolphins and stopped to give everyone a chance to see them jumping out of the water. The snorkeling was great. As a bonus a manta ray was spotted on our return. Would recommend SeaQuest again.

I had a great experience with Sea Quest! My guide was Paola, and our captain was Mike! They were both amazing and so friendly, and they made sure everyone was safe at all times. The excursion itself was from 9 am to 12 pm, and the raft we were on had a roof, which was very helpful with the sun. Our raft had about 20 people on it, and it was still very spacious.

My husband, my 6-year old son and I went on the Captain Cook snorkeling tour with Mike from Sea Quest, and had a great time. There was one other family of 3, so it was a small group on the boat. Mike was very patient and kind, and the snorkeling was great. There was fruit and chips provided.

Very knowledgeable guide and support staff. She shared a lot of history about the sites we were seeing. The Hawaiian snacks, fruit, and fruit soda were a great touch.

Captain B and Tay were awesome! The speed boat ride was a lot of fun, especially for my kids! The snorkeling was incredible - so many cool fish, especially closer to the shore. We had the best time and would definitely recommend Sea Quest! Also, aloha to B’s mom! She told us you read all the Trip Advisor reviews lol - she was so fun!

We had a beautiful morning excursion to Captain Cook. Sea Quest team was also super friendly, they helped and provided snorkelling tips to my 11 yr old. They also arranged for a fruit plate and snacks. I had a bit of trouble parking at the marked unpaved lot, but not a major issue. Highly Recommend!
