Description
Our kayaking trip takes place in one of the most beautiful parts of the river of Vjosa, the last wild river in Europe. We will start from Kelcyra's Gorge in southern Albania created by the Vjosa river, near the town of Kelcyre. The gorge has panoramic and relaxing views, during the trip we will enjoy the "Blue Eye" which has a water spring and natural phenomenon occurring near the village of Muzine Finiq. We will pedal through the canyon and the waterfalls for about 2 and half hour until we arrive at the village of Peshtan Gathering at restaurant Salmoni, you will park the cars there and our shuttle will pick you up and take you to the departure point of Kelcyra gorge. Preparing for the adventure, wearing neoprene suits, thermal sweatshirts, life jackets and helmets it’s a must. The whole trip will give you a very special feeling and the adrenaline will be covering your body going through Vjosa rapids, the beautiful canyons of Kelcyra, the waterfalls and the “Blue Eye” experience.

Great experience. Aldo and his colleague did everything to make it a fun experience. Only minor niggle was my kayak was set up as a single with the seat all the way in the back. Which made the front of the kayak lift out the water. When we hit a strong breeze this made it difficult to make progress. If I did it again I’d make sure I was in the middle/front. Nevertheless a great experience with beautiful scenery.
It was really good fun. The instructors were very friendly and funny. We felt safe at all times and we had a great time. In addition they took photos and sent them to us at the end of the tour.

Amazing experience, we werea a group of 11 and everuthing went well perfectly ! The different point of view are really nice, and you will even get the possibility to jump into the river !
Beautiful tour with blue eye and waterfall. Good English-speaking guidance, immediately clear instructions as to who went into the kayak with whom, so no discussion with teenagers and a nice time on the water. Wonderful trip and nice swimming in between, good instructions.

We were 3 to kayak, unfortunately we had to be a group of 6. Yet the same day we received an email that the guide wanted to do it anyway, we happy with the three of us 😁 How sweet and friendly is the whole team? Finally to let us kayak there were 5 men ready to organize everything, Waw Super professional so all. this trip was one of the best one ever. the staff was lovely and super kind with us. They made everything perfect for us. The river was beautiful and very fun. The water was clear and fresh. Through the way we saw diffrent waterfalls.The nature was beautiful. Really reccomend this trip!

I m normally not prone to use superlatives, but that was an incredible experience. We were a family of 6, with our youngest about to complete 6 years (who was riding the kayak of one of the guides). The scenery is breathtaking, there is a sub-river fountain of the bluest of colours, there are waterfalls, rapids (negotiable for beginners, but not without undue thrill!), and high embankments under soaring mountain peaks.
