Amazing experience.
They were incredibly responsive from the start. It was a spontaneous decision my friends and I made, and they immediately sent me all the details, explained the different options, and gave me plenty of time to confirm.
I only confirmed at around 8:30 p.m. the night before, and they still arranged for someone to pick us up from our accommodation at 7:30 a.m. the next morning.
Our tour guide was fantastic as well. He’s from the area, knew all the best routes, and took us to some beautiful, quieter spots. Most of the time, we were the only ones kayaking on the bay, which made the experience even more special.

The most unforgettable way to see Ha Long Bay
To any and all confident kayakers:
This will be the highlight of your Vietnam trip. This experience is an ecofriendly way to explore Ha Long Bay away from tourist crowds. It is not a tour but an independent way to kayak outside of Cat Ba and enjoy the limestone karsts. A guide explains the boundaries which stretch for a few miles. However, you must be a strong kayaker familiar with open sea kayaking, OR make sure to travel in a self-organised group, as the weather can be unpredictable and other day trip cruises frequent the area. This was the most AMAZING experience, and worth every dollar. I can't recommend it enough.

Fabulous outfit
They all expressed satisfaction and immense pleasure with the trip. The specific comments from my family:
Mr Ming was really great . We loved his flexibility with our itinerary, catering to our needs and all the information he gave us.
Floating homestay was cozy and beautiful . One of the bathroom doors needs to be repaired .
Food was absolutely amazing .
The location was lovely and we will be back

Wonderful Experience in Cat Ba
Everything was perfect. From the very beginning, we had excellent and transparent communication with Henry. He organized everything and always responded very quickly. Our trip with our personal guide, Hieu, was fantastic. He speaks excellent English and is very friendly. As a local, he makes sure you feel completely at ease. It's not a luxury tour, but an authentic and private experience. The other tours are for large groups and very touristy. Overall, a wonderful experience – we highly recommend this tour.

Kayaking day/tour
We did the full day kayak tour, Minh our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was excellent and we covered approximately 12km. Lunch was excellent with a good variation of food. The bay was fairly quiet but with plenty of different things going on. Local fishing and diving as well as various shell fish farms. Minh took time to explain how things were done and shared his favourite places with us. All in all an excellent day and experience.. highly recommended. 😁

Kayaking for the day
My husband and I took a day- long kayaking tour with Cat Ba Kayak Adventures. We had a great experience - communication to set up the reservation was excellent, and we had a tour guide who was very friendly, knowledgeable anout the region, and fluent in English. We went to many lovely spots, and we had a delicious lunch on a beach which was brought out to us by boat. A great way to have a peaceful and energetic experience in Cat Ba.

Absolutely recommend
It was the best experience. Linh was a great tour guide who knew a lot about the national park, fauna and flora. The hike was quite challenging but totally worth it. Also the bike ride, fish massage, the boat ride and kayaking was great. We only had a day on the island and saw everything including the fishing village.

Best way to see Lan Ha bay
We recently did a 1-day kayak tour with Minh from Cat Ba Kayak Adventures. We had a great day and highly recommend it. We paddled for just under 5 hours and covered nearly 16km. The pace was relaxed and had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery,
take pictures and chat. Minh is a super easy going guy with lots of interesting information about the bay and Vietnam in general. The bay was very quiet with not many tour boats around and sometimes we had the whole bay to ourselves.
We have done multi-day kayak tours in Europe before and the overall service and equipment was on par with that. The kayaks are proper sea kayaks with rudder and buoyancy aids that were adjustable and comfortable.
Organisation of the trip was seamless. We actually WhatsApp’d the office at 6pm on a Sunday asking for a tour the next day (due to incoming bad weather). We had a prompt reply within minutes and booked the tour. We were picked up from our accommodation on time and taken to the office to collect equipment and make payment (card accepted with 3% surcharge). A traditional freshly cooked Vietnamese lunch was provided which was all delicious and plenty for us. We ate lunch on our own empty beach. Water was also provided.

A day in the bay
We are a family of 4 with 2 adolescents. We experienced today a wonderful trip kayaking through the bay in Cat Ba. We visited many caves and enjoyed the sea, we went swimming in beautiful lagoons. Our guide Mihn has been very nice and professional and he also explained us a lot about Vietnam. They served us very good food: shrimps and squids and many more!
We recommend this trip!
