Kayaking in Benagil

Show up early! We had difficulty locating the business and they ended up leaving without us. Apparently they wanted us to arrive 30 minutes before the tour time, but to date we have been unable to find that information anywhere. We ended up using another company and had a great experience seeing the caves.

Daniel, Constantine, and team were terrific! We had a blast and would definitely do again! Would recommend a novel amount of experience with kayaking, but they’re super helpful if not!

Incredible landscapes, very fun tour! I did the 1 hour one and I thought it was very good, as it is tiring to row for those who don't have much experience, but the instructors teach very well

Going early was a really smart move. There were just a few other people in the cave, making it much easier to take nice photos. The beach we left from was right beside the Benagil cave, making it a very short paddle over. The waves were fairly big, so we did get splashed but they gave us a dry bag for our towels and we put the phone in that to keep it safe. We had enough time to kayak around to some other caves, but depending on how wavy it is, it might be difficult to get very far. Overall it was a good rental, we don't have any complaints. Decent price, compared to other companies, however we did not get a guided tour, but we don't feel like we really needed one. The instructions for where to meet could be made a bit clearer (there are so many tour companies around, it's hard to tell them apart). Also the marina area above the beach needs some work with it's public washrooms. No toilet paper or soap. These companies using this area should advocate for better upkeep.

Rented 2 kayaks with Benagil Kayaks (Kayaks 2fun) as the site had the best online prices compared to other providers. A little hard to find the place, and had to call the office. Find the exact location on Google Maps by looking for Ocean 4fun or Benagil Kayaks. They are located right in the bend before going down the hill towards the beach. Super service. We borrowed a drybag so our phones, keys and other things could be safe during the sailing. We recommend these guys if you have to visit the Benagil cave on your own.

Staff were really super and professional ..went with a 8&10 yr old and a husband that had little experience in swimming..but the staff put us at ease and we opted for the 2 hr tour with Edwardo and his partner was a pleasure to deal with..we all enjoyed the visits to the caves and the open water.. Their Kayak’s were superior to other companies at Benagil beach..highly recommend them 👍

Very Good Welcoming and wise advice for a family not very experienced in kayaking. Kayaking rental without guide but it is better to have someone for the waves especially on the beach departures.

Very easy and smooth communication, instructions are given very clearly and in details. Suitable for zero experiences like us even with young children. Highly recommended!
