Kathmandu to Langtang Valley 7-Day Trek

​My 7-day Langtang Valley trek was the adventure of a lifetime, thanks to my amazing guides, Raj Tamang and Moses Ghale. ​The highlight was summiting Tsergo Ri (4,985m). Near the top, the snow was waist-deep and the trail had disappeared. Raj skillfully found the path using his trekking poles and safely led me to the summit. The stunning view and the taste of the apple we shared at the top are memories I will never forget. ​Their hospitality was perfect. They led through tough sections but gave me space on easier paths, respecting my pace. They also balanced my private time with fun social moments, like dancing to Nepali music with other guests at the teahouse. ​Despite my limited English, they spoke slowly and kept me laughing with their great sense of humor. I can’t wait to trek with them in Nepal again. Thank you for everything!

My trek in Langtang Valley with the Cordial Trekking team was everything I hoped for and more. Raj was an outstanding guide -knowledgeable, engaging, and great to trek with. He made sure I felt safe and well looked after throughout, organising meals, selecting great tea houses, and pacing each day perfectly. Did the 5-Day Langtang Valley Trek with Pratip as our guide. Pratip was an absolutely amazing guide - experienced, outgoing and very knowledgeable about the nature, animals and cultures of Langtang Valley. The 5-Day option is quite challenging with long days, but with Pratip's energy and support we managed to trek even more and reach higher peaks than initially planned. The logistics of the trip were also handled really well and we never had to worry about anything. So if you are wondering if it’s possible to do Langtang in only five days - yes it is, especially with Pratip! We can highly recommend Cordial Trek!

And this was my second trek with Cordial Trek and guide Pratip, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. Choosing them again was an easy decision after my first great experience — and they absolutely delivered. Starting from choosing the Trek to answering all my questions, Cordial Team were very supportive. They were even very flexible and did their best to customise the trek due to my unforeseen paperwork in Embassy of India. Even though the trek i booked for 7days which had to cut short due to the paperwork. But as per my request Pratip made sure that we complete the full trek and return back as per original plan. The whole experience was amazing from walking next to River, then into forest, living with the locals in guest houses, climbing Lower Kyanjin Ri, experiencing local bus journey. I made it to lower Kyanjin Ri all because of Pratip who constantly supported and encouraged me throughout the trail. While I almost gave up 3 times during the trek where he helped with my backpack and made sure that we reach the point. He continuously monitored my health and took utmost care due to some symptoms of altitude sickness. And I am already looking forward to my next adventure with them for next year!

It was a very lovely tour and hike at Shivapuri. The path is good, with many steps and we had a great weather. We were able to see the mountains at the peak. Our guide Nilakantha was great, friendly with many explanations about the country and its culture. We recommend it

The guide (Acharya) is incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and explained Nepal’s history in a very clear and detailed way. He helped us understand the differences between Hindu and Buddhist deities — something we didn’t know at all before — and he was patient the whole time, always checking on how we were doing. Having a guide really helped us appreciate Nepal’s rich culture and local lifestyle. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful day. We felt truly happy and satisfied!

The trek was well organized, cordial trek team is highly competant and experienced. The hospitality accorded was humbling. The guide and porters team( Pratip, Dub and Maila) worked in harmony with the group to ensure our comfort, pace with the final aim to achieve the end result of a great trek. Langtang is an amazing route rich with scenery and culture. I truly appreciate the trek and cordial treks support throughout the end to end planning.

We made Langtang Valley Trek. The organozation was perfect as our guide, Pratip. Pratip knew what to do anytime, he cared of us as brother and sister. We managed also to reach Kyanging Ri at 4700m. Also the porter, Dup and maila were very kind. Absolutely recomended

After wanting to do Langtang valley trek for several years I was not disappointed with the beauty and experience of the area. I did not expect to be so close to snowy peaks so that was a bonus. A longer visit would have been beneficial to take in the area more. My guide was friendly and fun and looked after me very well. I would recommend this trek to anyone who is interested in doing this.
