For our half-day Kamakura tour, it is very important that guests meet directly at Kamakura Station in order to take full advantage of the 4-hour itinerary. Starting the tour from Kamakura ensures that you have the maximum time to explore and enjoy the highlights without unnecessary delays.
We are happy to assist with arrangements from your hotel in either Tokyo or Yokohama. If you prefer, we can accompany you by train to Kamakura. Travel time is approximately one hour from Tokyo and about 40 minutes from Yokohama.
While private car transportation can be arranged, please note that it is significantly more expensive and travel times can be much longer due to heavy traffic. Taking the train is the most reliable, efficient, and recommended option.

Kamakura Shrines and Temples with Jack
We had an amazing tour with Jack in Kamakura, visiting the Hase-dera Temple, Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine, and the Daibutsu (Great Buddha) at Kotoku-in Temple. He was not only so knowledgeable of history, culture and religion, but also related the information in a way that was understandable and memorable. He also helped navigate some shopping in the small local shops, and getting local tasty treats as well. He was a great ambassador for both Japan and Kamakura area, and would highly recommend joining him on a tour.

Highly recommend
Jack was so knowledgeable and nice. We learned a lot on the tour and was able to stop at local shops for snacks and souvenirs. Totally recommend!

Great day in Kamakura

Absolutely Amazing Yokohama Tour
Jack was amazing. We arrived in Japan for the first time and had no idea about the area of Yokohama where we were staying. Jack not only showed us the sights but gave us the best tips for navigating Yokohama. He had an answer to all our questions and was really easy to get on with. 100% well worth the tour

Ask for Jack!!!! It’s all about the guide!!!
After 10+ tours in 12 weeks, Jack is absolutely the best guide out there. Incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of our questions and introduced us to some local cuisine which was outstanding. If you’re booking, ask for Jack by name. A week + after and I am still impressed by the guy. Fantastic English speaking too. See the pics I attached. He knows right where to take you!!!!

Perfect guide
Jack was an amazing guide, who could answer every question we had about Yokohama and Japan in general. The tour was the perfect length and we were really enjoying the stops he showed us.
