Every cruise is unique, as your captain keeps track of the constantly moving creatures in order provide the best opportunity to see it all! This may include sea otters, eagles, puffins, whales, seals, bears and multiple species of nesting seabirds all from the comfort of the boat. We will explore Kachemak Bay’s jagged coastline with many incredible geologic rock formations, and an abundance of sea kelp and intertidal creatures that we may be able to spot!

This was a really nice excursion. And 2 hours is perfect. Linsey and Davey were great. They gave us binoculars so we could really zero in on the wild life. The boat is perfect size as you are right there and can get up close. My only minor quibble is it would be nice if the benches had cushions. But it was a very nice relaxing tour that I recommend for adults and families alike.
We had a great trip! Our guide Maddie was very knowledgeable and shared so much information about the area and wildlife. We would highly recommend using Seabird Ventures for a tour around the bay!

Scott gave us an amazing tour. His knowledge of the area’s history and wildlife is vast and he shares it to the depth you are interested in. He kept up with recent sightings of wildlife and adjusted the tour to see as much as possible instead of just a cookie cutter path that might bypass the wildlife. The entire trip was amazing day and we are thankful. Highly recommend
