We had an absolutely fantastic two-day tour of K’gari! The island itself is breathtaking, but what truly made this experience exceptional was our wonderful ranger and guide, Andy. His knowledge of the island’s flora, fauna and fascinating history was incredible, and he shared it with such enthusiasm and passion. We learned so much while enjoying every moment of the trip. Andy made sure we felt safe, comfortable and relaxed throughout, navigating the island with great skill and making the whole experience truly memorable. The accommodation was a little dated, but Kingfisher Bay Resort still had its own charm. The Dune Restaurant, on the other hand, was excellent and definitely worth a visit! Overall, an amazing experience that we would highly recommend. And if you’re lucky enough to have Andy as your ranger, you’re in for a real treat! Thank you, Andy, for making our K’gari adventure so special!

K’agari is a must see/do if you are in the area, we liked the tour to see the highlights with a comfy awesome 4WD bus. Best of all was the guide Andy (Andrew)! what an amazing and experienced guide! Nice tour with great guide
Had an amazing time, 2 full days and seen all the hotspots of K’gari. Andy was our guide and he was such a nice, friendly and well informed person. Would recommend a tour with andy for everyone!

Great 2-day tour with Taylah
We had an amazing time on our 2-day tour with our guide Taylah. She was extremely knowledgeable and always excited to share interesting information about the island. Furthermore, her driving skills on the bumpy roads through the sand were impressive. The itinerary was fun and well planned and we always had enough time for each sight. Food was tasty and vegetarian options were available as well.

2 Day K’gari Trip
We had a great experience. Our guide Dean was incredible, drove us all around, told us many interesting things, and was always in a good mood. Meals were well provided for. The island is a must-see and we visited all the relevant spots. Only the pickup time at the beginning was stated somewhat confusingly and inconsistently.

Wonderful day out
A great day exploring the unique habitat of Fraser island our pick up point driver had been delayed by a group so not his fault we were late pick up, the driver was very knowledgeable and told us interesting info en route to ferry. The guide for our island "off road," experience was Blair, so knowledgeable about the island and it's history but telling us in small bites so easier to take in. Lunch was plentiful and all labeled I'm veggie so very happy to see several options, a tea and cookie stop at the end of the day too. Had an option to take a small aircraft flight which was extra but well with it. A fantastic day we both loved it. Lucky to see a dingo at the end of the day.

Top round trip with mediocre accommodation.
The round trip was super, with Taylah as a very dedicated tour guide who told us a story at every stop and left enough time for exploration. The first half of September is significantly quieter (we were 14/40), after that there are school holidays in Australia. Accommodation at the K‘Gari Beach Resort was ok (food, room). It was a shame that everything closes there at 9 p.m. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is fine for me.
