Visit the simple, concrete memorial to President Kennedy, designed by architect Philip Johnson, which called it "a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Finally, make a stop at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas. Thankful it was in an air conditioned van! The tour itself was very informative. We liked that there was some history about Dallas in general too. The information about the JFK assassination and Lee Harvey Oswald were great, we got to see where the shots took place, where LHO worked and shot from, and we got to hear some of the conspiracies behind it all. It was a great tour but definitely leaves us to wonder and go do our own research, which I like!
Kinney was a great tour guide and VERY knowledgeable and informative about the subject. I loved how he physically took my wife and I to the various locations that have been etched in history, including the Lee Harvey boarding house which truly felt like we traveled back into time. Kinney was amazing and hope that whenever you book this tour, he will be your guide.
Had a great time doing the JFK tour in Dallas! This was my first time in Texas and my main reason of coming to Dallas first was to see the JFK site as I studied this in high school and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Orlando was a great informative guide and it was very cool to hear about it from a local Dallas native! Museum was great with a huge amount of information, pictures and various items. All around was a great experience for my first trip to Dallas!
Great information and great tour guide. fabulous to see Lee Harvey Oswald’s house and to trace his steps where the alleged killing of the policeman occurred. the guide provided a neutral unbiased view of the various facts and scenarios that raised many questions about what we know.
Issac our guide was so knowledgeable and open to questions. He even texted references after our tour. Highly recommend!
