Step into one of the most famous locations in American history as your guide leads you on a walking tour through Dealey Plaza and the Grassy Knoll. Stand at the exact location where thousands of witnesses gathered on November 22, 1963, and hear the dramatic story of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. You'll see the former Texas School Book Depository, the "X" marking the spot on Elm Street where the fatal shot struck, the Pergola, the Triple Underpass, the picket fence, and other key landmarks that have become central to one of history's most debated events. Your guide will explain the official timeline, eyewitness accounts, and the significance of each location while allowing plenty of time for photos and questions.
Visit the modest rooming house where Lee Harvey Oswald lived in the weeks leading up to President John F. Kennedy's assassination. This rarely included stop offers a unique look into one of the most significant locations connected to the events of November 22, 1963. Your guide will explain Oswald's daily routine, his movements on the day of the assassination, and the historical importance of the house. Learn about the landlady who rented him the room, hear fascinating stories surrounding his stay, and see the exterior of the home where one of history's most controversial figures once lived. This exclusive stop provides additional insight into the assassination timeline that few other JFK tours include.
J. D. Tippit Memorial Site Visit the historic intersection where Dallas Police Officer J. D. Tippit was fatally shot on November 22, 1963, approximately 45 minutes after President John F. Kennedy's assassination. Your guide will explain why this location became a pivotal part of the investigation and how the events that unfolded here led to the nationwide manhunt for Lee Harvey Oswald. Standing at the intersection, you'll learn about the eyewitness accounts, the timeline of the shooting, and its role in one of the most significant criminal investigations in American history. This important stop provides a deeper understanding of the dramatic events that took place throughout Dallas on that historic day.
Make a brief stop at the historic Texas Theatre, where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested approximately 80 minutes after President John F. Kennedy's assassination. During this 10-minute stop, your guide will explain the dramatic events that unfolded inside the theater on November 22, 1963, as Dallas police surrounded the building and captured the prime suspect. Learn how Oswald entered the theater without purchasing a ticket, the confrontation that took place during his arrest, and why this location became one of the final key scenes in the JFK assassination timeline. You'll have time to view the historic theater, take photos, and gain a deeper understanding of the events that led to one of the most significant arrests in American history.Stop along the way at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas.

We enjoyed our tour with Orlando. He was very knowledgeable and offered wonderful insight. He made the tour a great experience!
Guide was awesome, very knowledgeable, made the trip fun and memorable. You can tell he loves doing these tours. Was really surprised that the area had not changed since the assassination.
Had a great and wonderful time, and also learned a lot about things that I really didn't know would happen.
Our guide, Preston, did an excellent job! So many details and interesting facts. The tour started on time, air conditioned coach and stops along the way. Highly recommend taking this tour.
it was a very good tour. with lots of information about that day. out guide was Preston. He had a lot of knowledge about that day.
Our tour guide John was very knowledgeable and informative! He took as to all of the sights and explained how everything happened. He was clearly very passionate about his job and he taught us a lot! Highly recommend!
Great tour. Preston. He gave a great tour of the city, area the jfk was killed and the rooming house and theatre....Learned a great deal from him. He is the one to go with.
DAN!!! If you can pick one tour guide, pick Dan!! He made the entire JFK experience thrilling and exciting! He has 30+ years of history under his belt but his charismatic energetic personality stole the tour! Waiting on the bus, he gave us a brief history lesson with pictures on his iPad. During the tour, he made sure we got the full experience by physically showing us and explaining in great detail everything related to JFK such as the assassination spot, the snipers nest, the grassy knoll, Oswald’s rental house, and the officer that was slain by Oswald, etc. Fantastic tour!! The bus driver was extremely sweet and offered us candy and bottled water. Together, they make an excellent team! Do yourself a favor and take this tour!!
Super interesting, lots of information. Make sure to include the 6th floor museum as it really takes you back to the early 60s to understand the climate of the day.
Our tour guide was Preston. When I arrived, he was frantically walking around with bags of ice. When he finally came back, I asked if he was Preston and told him I needed to check in. He said, "get on the bus." I did, and he followed. His attitude was unacceptable, no matter what he was dealing with that morning. The rest of the tour went smoothly and he clearly knew his stuff. But I have never been talked to that way by a tour guide. Second problem: about 90% of the tour was on the bus. That part was nice, given the distance between sites and the Dallas heat. But the A/C barely worked. We mentioned it to him at one of the stops. He said something like, "the bus has two temperatures, refrigerator and oven. I'll cool it down when we get back." He never did. I'd like to think I just picked the one bad day this year. But I would not book another tour with Fun Dallas Tours.
