We had a great time on...
We had a great time on this tour! Cindy is an excellent guide, who brings kindness, care, and knowledge to the experience. We learned a lot about the area from her. The highlight of our trip was walking up Sunrise Peak at Seongsan Ilchulbong and seeing the haenyeo after.

Nature of Jeju
During my trip to eastern Jeju Island, I visited Seongeup Folk Village, Seongsan Ilchulbong, a haenyeo performance, Manjanggul Cave, and Hamdeok Beach. Each place gave me a special memory, but most of all, this trip helped me feel the beauty and power of nature.
When I saw Seongsan Ilchulbong, I was deeply impressed by its magnificent view. The green mountain, the blue ocean, and the wide sky made me feel small but peaceful. I could imagine how volcanic activity created this beautiful place thousands of years ago. At that moment, I realized that nature can create something more beautiful than anything people can make.
Manjanggul Cave was also unforgettable. Walking through the dark cave and seeing the unusual rock formations made me curious about the long history of the Earth. I felt that nature had been quietly creating this wonderful place for a very long time.
The haenyeo performance touched my heart in a different way. The haenyeo showed a strong connection between people and the sea. Watching them reminded me that the ocean is not just a beautiful place, but also an important part of people's lives. At Hamdeok Beach, I listened to the sound of the waves and looked at the clear blue water. I felt calm and happy as if all my worries had disappeared for a while.
Seongeup Folk Village also showed me how people have lived alongside Jeju's natural environment for generations. Through this journey, I learned that nature is not simply something we look at. It is something we live with, depend on, and should protect.
This trip to Jeju was more than just a sightseeing experience. It gave me a chance to slow down, look around, and appreciate the beauty of the world. I will remember the blue ocean, the sound of the waves, and the amazing volcanic landscapes for a long time. Most importantly, I hope that the beautiful nature of Jeju will remain safe and beautiful for future generations.

Great tour!
I had a great time on this tour. It does involve a lot of walking in the heat, so it would be best to prepare a portable fan and/or umbrella. The host, Ella, very kindly brought us chilled water bottles to help with the heat. She contacted us the day before with clear pickup instructions. There is an optional hike that can be quite difficult for some travelers, so just be prepared with water and good shoes. She gives you plenty of time to make the hike and eat lunch before the Haenyeo show.
The Jeju weather can be unpredictable. It rained on and off, but we were still able to see all of the attractions. It may have been helpful to have some suggestions for lunch spots as the area had many options.
Operator response
Thank you for sharing such a helpful and detailed review! 😊 We’re glad you had a great time despite Jeju’s changing weather and summer heat. It’s wonderful to hear that Ella took good care of everyone with clear instructions, plenty of time to explore, and some much-needed cold water! We also appreciate your suggestion about providing more lunch recommendations and will keep it in mind. Thank you for joining us!
