- Important Note regarding Maligne Canyon Waterfalls: Due to damage caused by last summer’s wildfire, access to Maligne Canyon is currently closed by Parks Canada for infrastructure repairs to ensure visitor safety. Excellent day touring Jasper and Lake Malagne. Mukund was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. Mukund put the wildfires into context with great detail. He knew a lot about the local wildlife, geology and plant life. The other tour guide, Logan, teamed up with us and his smaller group for our hike around the lake and was into birds and plants. Highly recommend.
