Our tour of Istanbul far exceeded our expectations. Delil Travel was proactive and transparent with high quality communications scheduling the tours. They provided excellent morning updates and opportunities for feedback each day. They followed up with our tour guide on multiple occasions every day just to ensure all was going well and to see if any adjustments were needed. It was comforting to know we were being cared for, even though all went as planned. Our tour guide, Ezgi, was one of the best we’ve had the fortune to tour with. She was a great mix of a very knowledgeable historian, local culture expert, foodie guide, and very passionate to share all she could about Istanbul and Turkey’s past, present, and what the future opportunities and challenges might be. We have a much stronger understanding of Turkey. Not a moment of any day was lost as Ezgi treated us to a progressive daily feast each while walking from site to site. We had a variety of local foods at some of the best local vendors on the walks between every site we visited. It seemed Ezgi was hosting us at her home as we walked Istanbul.
