ISTANBUL Exclusive guided tour of Old Town

We did two tours with Kadir and couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging through both tours.

With his background in history, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque and Topkapi Palace, explaining everything in an engaging and easy to understand way. Kadir was such an amazing tour guide for Hagia Sophia, that we hired him again for a tour of the Tookapi Palace. He is a gentleman, who took care of our group and an incredible story teller of History. We skipped all the lines with him as we were prioritized above everyone else in the lines. We spent two days learning, laughing and enjoying his company. Perfect English and a true gem for our trip. We have recommended him to our friends visiting Istanbul next month and would reccomend him to anyone that wants to skip lines, learn from a phenomenal story teller, and to have a point of contact for the trip should you need help with shopping, restaurants or translation

Our guide Kadir Yilmaz was excellent. His knowledge and willingness to share made it all the more worthwhile. He was on time, willing to tailor it to our needs and had excellent English. I would highly recommend him.

We randomly met Kadir looking to purchase tickets to Hagia Sophia and we are so glad we did. He helped us get through the line quickly and shared lots of great info and answered our questions in the tour. He is extremely knowledgeable! He was also able to give us a tour of the Blue Mosque and walked us through the hippodrome. Great experience, I wish we found him online earlier and booked with him before attempting to DIY. A private tour guide that can get you in quickly and take you through the highlights is the way to go!

Absolutely loved my two days with Kadir! I only had a brief stopover in Istanbul and asked Kadir to show me around. He picked a bunch of spots he thought I would like based on my love of history. Every spot he took me to, he had so many facts and such a strong historical base! I asked about 1,00,000 questions and he has an answer to all of them! I learned so much about the places we visited and the history of the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires as well as modern Turkey. More practically, Kadir is an absolute professional and knows what times to visit different sites to avoid crowds and lines. We walked into the Palace with a 2 min line and walked out to see the line all the way down the block and around the courtyard 😂. As a solo traveler for the first day, I loved my time with Kadir and enjoyed our conversation! He also knows all the places to take a good picture! 15/10 recommend!

We did the private guided tour of Ayasofya, the Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern with Kadir. He was fantastic, and the whole experience was wonderful. The tour was the perfect speed, and just the right amount of information/history. He shared fascinating historical knowledge, and also gave us great advice on local restaurants and shops.
