Istanbul Discovery Tour with Private Guide and Private Vehicle

Beret was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and flexible. He adjusted our daily schedule when needed and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our experience. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip feel personal rather than simply following an itinerary. What made our experience even more special was that, over the 6 days, Berat became more than our tour guide—he became a friend. I reached out to these guys the night before and they were able to quickly make things happen to accommodate my request! The drive that picked me up at my hotel was extremely polite and drove a nice vehicle with all the accommodations you would ever need, it was super clean as well. Now the tour guide… I can’t say enough about him, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and clearly loved him job. So many tour guides do it for just a job but for this guy, it was something he clearly woke up excited to do it every day. He was not only knowledgeable, he was polite, courteous and very respectful! I did not get to meet Brit but got to spend some time with Berat and even know it was only a couple hours spent together, I left feeling like family or best friends. Very pleased with both the airport pickup and cruise port drop-off, as well as the day tour in between. The one area of improvement is the larger seatbelts for four adults and maybe a bit more room for luggage in the van. Other than that. We felt safe and secure and pleased.

The best personalized tour of a lifetime that I've ever experienced. Very accommodating and flexible to one's daily changing schedule. Be ready to learn and walk the city. If you need a break, let them know. Come prepared to experience a new city on your schedule and needs. From the minute we landed to our departure, we were well taken care of. Come prepared with questions. Our tour guide, Yakupn (Jacob) was always on point, willing to taken on one challenge after another. We were always in contact with him and Berat throughout our visit. In the event something went array, they quickly responded, rectifying the situation immediately and promptly. I really wish we had more time to explore additional offerings - so we we will be returning in two months. That really speak to the level / caliber of their service.

Brit and Berat are incredible to work with. Brit was very quick to respond to my inquiry and follow-up questions. Berat and Jelley met us at our hotel. Jelley showed us all teh sites we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable about the history, sharing it in a way we could comprehend. They all speak English very well, and we had no issues with communicating. Berat was extremely helpful in assisting us with our purchases at shops in several of the bazaars. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when I return to areas where they can assist.

They brought Istanbul’s incredible history to life as we explored the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Roman Hippodrome, ancient ruins, the Grand Bazaar, and several other fascinating sites. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city’s history and culture. Every question we had was answered thoughtfully, and the tour never felt rushed. Beyond the sightseeing, they also made fantastic recommendations for lunch, shopping, and local experiences that we never would have found on our own. Their personal touch made the entire day even more memorable. If you’re visiting Istanbul and want a tour that is informative, enjoyable, and perfectly organized, I couldn’t recommend Brit and Berat more highly. Five stars, 10/10, and we would absolutely book with them again!

Koray is a master of history! Every date! Every Sultan! His wealth of knowledge is impressive but equally inspiring is his love for this city. Tour guides are often the only real local you get to know and he represents this bustling beautiful city with passion and kindness. If he tired of my endless conversations I didn’t know it. He was generous with his time. I appreciated has not only his expertise but his company. A genuinely nice guy! Thank you!

Our tour was great! Well informed and super safe. The group was thoroughly brought through all of the hot spots in Istanbul with information at every stop. Lots of fun! It lasted roughly four hours. Only caveat was that stops costed money so prices got a little high as at numerous places there were expenses for entrance. We didn’t need the van for transportation for our group so the company gave us a free shuttle to the airport, which was super considerate and generous!

Booking with Brit and Berat what’s the best decision we made in planning our trip to Istanbul. They made it so easy. They sent me options and chose the options. I was interested in and they planned out 4 full days of activities, including transportation to and from the airport. The Istanbul airport taxi lane can be quite daunting and having a person have my name flight number, etc. was great and he personally walked me directly to a custom comfortable van that was kind of like a limousine which was a real treat and a wonderful first impression of Istanbul. I stayed the first three nights at the stay Bosphorous hotel on recommendation by Brit And Berat and it was a wonderful boutique hotel in a lovely area with a spectacular view of the water. We then transferred to another hotel right in the heart of old Istanbul, and this is where the adventure really began. We did a combination of historical walking tours of the hippodrome, the blue mosque and Haggai Sophia. We did a walking food tour on the Asian side, which was spectacular. We went to the sultan Palace. We did the Turkish Bath. We walked the streets. We walked through the grand bazaar. We stopped at coffee shops. We stopped at hidden restaurants and cafés. It was a wonderful experience. The Turkish people are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The food is outstanding. Do not believe what you read or see on the news and anything happening in Iran has no impact on Istanbul. It is a vibrant city full of welcoming people. We visited rooftop bars with stunning views and Brit And Berat are always just a text away. And that brings me to the class a level of service that they offer. I unfortunately became ill on my last day I just texted Berat and he made all the arrangements to get me the medical assistance I needed and I cannot be more grateful.I had such a positive experience that I’m gonna be returning to Turkey and I’m gonna be booking new adventures through Brit And Berat. They are World class operators in a world class city. Five stars!
