In April 2025, I ordered 2 eSIM for New Zealand for use in December 2025 because I had an expiring promotion I needed to use on my TripAdvisor account. Fast forward to December and I received a text notifying me it’s time to install the NZ eSIMs before my trip. But installation failed because there’s no eSIM found. Customer service blamed me for installing it then deleting it. What??? Why would I install 2 eSIM cards 6 months in advance when the terms say they will expire 30 days after installation? I’ve nvr even been to New Zealand yet and just trying to prep for my trip. Ridiculous! I will do credit card charge back if they don’t issue me new eSIMs.

As eSIMs cannot be reinstalled once removed due to carrier security rules, we recommend installing them closer to the travel date.
