Description
Explore the romantic Isle of Skye on a full-day trip from Inverness. Taking in spectacular Highland scenery, your tour passes Loch Ness and the ruins of Eilean Donan Castle before reaching Skye, where gnarly mountain peaks and hillsides swathed in purple heather are framed by soft, sandy beaches. Enjoy lunch in Portree and walks around the beautiful harbour. Before returning to Inverness, pass the gorgeous little island of Eilean Ban.

Our journey from Inverness follows the banks of Loch Ness- watch out for "Nessie"
A short stop here to enjoy the waterfalls and admire the old bridge -designed by Thomas Telford.
Before crossing over the bridge to Skye we will stop at Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most picturesque castles in Scotland. There will be time to get that all important photo!
Our lunch stop will be in the charming island capital of Portree. Why not enjoy some traditional fish and chips by the harbour - just watch out for seagulls
There is a wonderful viewpoint here giving great views over the waterfall and cliffs. You will also get great views of the Old Man of Storr
Admire these stunning mountains as you arrive on the Isle of Skye.
A quick photo stop at the Old Sligachan Bridge. Your driver/guide will enthrall you with tales of the enchanted waters.
On the way back to Inverness you will travel along the shores of Loch Carron and through the little village of Strathcarron at the head of the Loch.

Tabbie is a wonderful tour guide that kept us on time and educated us on the isle of Skye. We had a fantastic time.
Tabbie was terrific. Good history lessons with humor. However the tour was too long at fairy pools and not enough time in Portree. Stop thinking ANYONE wants to walk the entire Fairy Pool walkway. Give folks the time to see more of the town. Tabbie’s enthusiasm made the long tour very enjoyable and her stories were outstanding!! Watch out for when those giants wake up!!😳

Our guide Tabbie was fantastic! She was funny, knowledgeable, and entertaining, sharing fun facts about every place we passed. The views were breathtaking. So much so that I would have enjoyed some longer stops in a few areas (specifically in the Trotternish area), but of course, there is a schedule to follow and it is impossible to see everything in just a single tour. Other than that, I really enjoyed this tour and I highly recommend it.

Amazing experience and day visiting the Isle of Skye with Tabbie as our guide. Even when relatively new, she did an amazing job swinging out facts after facts along the road and on the different stop-points. Such a good personality and vibe. Worth every penny on this trip.
