Booking was very easy. Crew were excellent. Special mention to Mike the Captain and the tour guide (forgotton his name) Tour was very informative, plenty of knowledge by thr guide.
Amazing! History facts and entertaining! The views are gorgeous. The weather was good and the crew were very nice.
Wonderful experience! The boat was large and comfortable. The hot chocolate with whiskey was great too. The guide was knowledgeable and answered all our questions! It was a lot of fun !

Be early to choose your seating. No smoking. Friendly staff. Meet new people from around the world. Great commentary from your tour guide.
A wonderful experience. Looking for Nessie was fantastic although we didn't get to see her. Alan from Jacobite was great allowing our Australian pipe band the opportunity to play on the pier before we set off sailing. The views of Urqhart Castle are amazing from the loch. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your lovely review Guys! We loved your playing before and after your cruise, and lots of our other passengers commended your playing as well! We would love to welcome you back on board with us again (with pipes or without!) Team Jacobite
A great trip with a wonderful commentary provided by the guide (Malcolm). The 2 hour cruise was perfect and there was plenty of space to sit and still get up and walk around all sides of the boat. A wonderful shop and cafe too.
So glad to hear that you enjoyed the cruise and An Talla. We hope to welcome you onboard again soon. Jacobite Team
Despite the weather, it was a lovely trip helped by the whisky hot chocolate which is now a thing! Crew were helpful and attentive… AnTalla was a great place to visit whilst waiting.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and An Talla despite the weather. We hope to welcome you onboard again soon. Jacobite Team
A wonderful way to spend a few hours. The trip takes you all the way down to Urquhart Castle and back, offering beautiful views of Loch Ness along the way. The guide was very entertaining and did a great job sharing interesting stories and information while also giving us time to sit back, and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, we didn’t see Nessie this time—but maybe next time. I would definitely recommend it.

Friendly staff at the meeting point. Guide on boat is fantastic and gives us a wonderful story of Nessie and Loch Ness. Dogs are welcomed on board is great me as I can enjoy the cruise with them.
Hi there, Thank you for your 5 star rating and review! We are so pleased you enjoyed the cruise and will pass your kind words onto the crew. We hope to welcome you back on board with us again soon! Kind regards, The Jacobite Team
The departure point was well signposted and easy to get to. We went on the 2.45pm sailing which was very busy, but we were still able to get a seat on the open deck upstairs. There was inside seating downstairs too, with a bar selling drinks and snacks. The guide for the visit was Jamie B - he was knowledgeable and engaging, with plenty of information about the Caledonian Canal, the River Ness, Loch Ness and its surroundings, but also leaving us with some quiet time to enjoy the breathtaking views. When we stopped at Urquhart Castle, a large coach party got off and no one got on, meaning that the boat was almost empty and we had the upper deck to ourselves! Jamie B came round and had a chat to all the guests, which was really lovely. This was out first day of our holiday and was a fantastic introduction to Loch Ness and the area.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re delighted your cruise was such a great start to your holiday. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the scenery and Jamie B’s commentary, and we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to him. We hope the rest of your holiday was just as memorable, and we’d love to welcome you back on board with us again in the future! Team Jacobite
