Description
We leave behind the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, for a full-day small-group adventure to the magical Isle of Skye. We drive along the world-famous Loch Ness, home of the elusive monster, and onwards through the mountains towards the west coast. Majestic mountains give way to vast sea lochs, once used by Vikings as an access route to our lands. We stop at the romantic Eilean Donan Castle with time for you to explore inside (optional, pay locally). After crossing the Skye Bridge, learn about the island’s myths and legends, as well as the true tales of rival clans and a fugitive prince. Enjoy lunch in the main town of Portee and visit the colourful harbor. Explore the Isle of Skye’s stunning coastline, and marvel at the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, and Kilt Rock. Take in the last of Skye’s otherworldly landscape as we drive through the Highlands back to Inverness.

- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
- Eilean Donan Castle can be subject to closures for private events. If so, additional time will be allocated elsewhere and the castle will be a photo stop.

- Due to vehicle availability, there may be instances where this tour runs on a bigger bus.

Martin was a really great guide, his passion for fairytales and sarcastic humour sat really well with me. It's just a shame Emily escaped us in Portree, and their cute little rivalry thus couldn't blossom further.

I went in a tour with my familly and we had the luck of habing Emmily as our gide and bus driver, she made the tour fun and explined everithing really well. It was a grate tour.
The trip was absolutely worth it. Emily was a lovely guide. I really loved the stories, especially the one about the giants and Kilt Rock. The view was also absolutely stunning.
Emily was our friendly and fun tour guide and driver. She drove us safely to the beautiful locations told us stories and legends about the Highlands. The length of the stops was fine and they were spaced out in a good way. I especially liked that we were at Eilean Donan Castle and Portree before the crowds.

Karen was a kind and wonderful guide. We spent a lovely day in North Scotland, including the Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Highland Cows and many more! She explained everything nicely and added many extra info for us. I highly reccomend her if you would like to spend a day in a magical atmosphere while exploring the gems of Scotland.
