We paid for a class but arrived 15 minutes late and refused admittance. There was a message to notify them we might be late but unbeknownst to us, the Fringe Festival caused even more traffic. A walk, bus and Uber for 2 people with mobility issues was an effort to arrive promptly but even that was not good effort. Instructed to walk 2 blocks to obtain a takeaway saddle kit. Luckily Sky was emphatic providing help and instructions. So instead of taking class, purchase a kit and do it yourself. Well 2 Canadians had the same issue so we sat in a nearby coffee shop to help each other. This company needs to stay Lateness will not be tolerated.
Gabby was amazing. Fun event, only thing I would change is maybe giving more time for the event and allowing time slots for people to pick out items. It was too hectic and select ones hovered over and wouldn’t give space to others. Great time though
Such a fun and unique experience! A unique souvenir to take home. I would go back and do it many times!
Fiona was our instructor, and she was wonderful! She was very clear with her instructions, personable, and made sure everyone had everything they needed throughout the experience. She also took the time to ensure each bag turned out just right and provided great tips on how to properly care for it afterward. We visited the Marshall Street location, which also has a little café where you can grab a snack or drink. Great for any spouses who just need a spot to hang out, if they are not partaking. Such a fun and unique experience to add to your trip, and you leave with a special souvenir you made yourself!
So fun and love my bag! I even upgraded for a bit larger bag. I can't wait to use it
This was so much fun!!! Cobi and Charlotte were wonderful!! They made the whole process easy and were helpful every step of the way! They answered questions, gave helpful hints and made it fun at the same time! And leaving with a bag that was by my own “making” made it extra special!! Thank you so much!!
Cobey and Emigne were amazing! They made sure our bags went together amazingly! It was fun picking all the parts and designing your bags.
Gill, Isaac and Taylor were so lovely and fun and helpful. This is a great experience to do with friends or family.
Wonderful experience. Imogene was a perfect teacher. Clear directions, great personality, lots of fun! Beth was very welcoming, super helpful with her tasteful experience. My sister and I had a great time and LOVE our purses. I upgraded to the larger size and leather. Have used it every day.
MY sister and I booked our class directly online, and found it was a wonderful experience. We were booked at the Islander Arch 10 location. Our class was full, and we met the nicest people while making our bags. Beatrice and Chris were our instructors and Beatrice was very informative, hands on when needed and genuinely very personable. She provided an excellent overview of the options, the materials used and the necessary care for your finished product. Leaning about the Harris Tweed was incredibly interesting. This is a unique experience and I would highly recommend it.
