Here it is: An adventure with the Land Rover and a private speed boat to Spinalonga Island to explore it, than over the countryside and small greek villages to the caves of milatos. Included also is a wonderful lunch at a local exellent taverna with fresh natural products and wine.
Very nice combo with Safari and private boat to the hotspot of the region, Explore the mountains and valleys, passing the small villages in the mountains. learn how olive oil is made at our stop at an olive oil factory with a free guided tour. Coming back through the mountains we will have some amazing views over the Gulf of Mirabello and the historical island of Spinalonga. At the village of Plaka, our fast private speedboat are wait for you to transfer you to Spinalonga. (Boat Transfer is 8 Euros, Entrance fee to the island not included, has to be payed on the island).

The best trip to Spinalonga.
Everything about this trip was excellent. Andreas, our driver/guide was superb, informative, knowledgeable and very helpful. The speedboat trip to Spinalonga was perfect and helped us bypass the crowds. Lunch was a feast of beautifully prepared and presented food. Delicious. We were 3 couples of different languages, but Andreas managed the differences excellently. A wonderful day we will treasure for a long time. Only slight suggestion is to allow half an hour longer on Spinalonga, as it felt a bit rushed. Many thanks to Andreas for his help through tunnels as my husband is sight impaired.

We really enjoyed the...
We really enjoyed the day, our tour guide was very knowledgable, frequently stopping to show us local plants, animals, birds. We saw vultures and a farmer feeding his sheep and goats near a rural village. Great explanation of the Island.
The speedboat to Spinalonga was fabulous as it meant no queuing or waiting around in the heat amongst the crowds.
Lovely lunch in a local spot with sea views, plenty of cold water provided throughout the day and and a/c in the car.

Spinalonga withHeorge
Our guide George was fabulous, talked about the history of the island, turned us into olive experts, we couldn't have asked for more from him. The island itself was very interesting you do really need to go round with others you are on trip with this is self guided. Lunch was ok found it a bit salty though, would have been nice to have options to what to eat. Visit to i e factory was good George explained everything wonderfully. The cave in all honesty has a sad story but felt you didn't need to see it. George had mixed group english and french he was very professional as the French couple did not speak English so he explained everything in English and French. Maybe not having mixed language group would be better so that no one feels time is being spent more wirh one group.

Good experience
A really lovely and experience-rich trip. In addition to the planned, we also got some knowledge from our driver about plants and spices. Can be highly recommended.

Sensational!!!

Great way to spend a day
A great day out. Enjoyed the whole trip including the drives between stop off points. Good chance to see a bit more of Crete. Lunch was good. Our guide, George was great and it was lovely to be in a small group, especially for the boat trip to Spinalonga.
