Beautiful views and our guide Brittney was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Wonderful experience the whole family can enjoy. Ty, our guide, was perfect for the kayak trip. He is kind, considerate to all paddlers, and shares knowledge of the area in a fun way. He adds personal stories that are hilarious and heart felt.
We had a wonderful tour with Tyler. We went to areas of the lake where you typically would not see. We got to see lots of wildlife including many ospreys. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
Our guide, Julia, was incredibly kind, caring and knowledgeable. She sought to connect with each person, know them by name and coach and encourage as needed.
Beautiful paddle! Julia was fun and knowledgeable about the mountains and the wildlife we saw! Clear blue skies and osprey and bald eagle sightings. Highly recommend this trip.
All the good things written about this tour are correct. We had a great time with Carter this morning. We saw Canadian Geese, a Blue Heron, and several Osprey. Unfortunately, the moose forgot they were supposed to show up. Although I haven’t read all the reviews, I thought I would provide some information that I was curious about before the trip. Are the kayaks tippy? No, we felt very secure the whole time. Do you need previous experience? No, the guide will help you learn anything you need to know. Do you get wet? Not very. The water is primarily from the paddling, so your legs and arms may get a little damp. We were told that they only have one capsize per year. Considering the number of people that go on this tour each year, that’s impressive. You don’t need to wear a swim suit. Should you bring your phone for photos? Although they will take pictures of your group, I was glad I brought mine. The life jackets have zipper pockets where you can keep your phone. It will keep it dry (unless you capsize. See above), It’s important to know that this is real exercise. You will be paddling for two hours. Although the tour proceeds at a leisure pace and there are plenty of breaks, we were pretty tired by the end of it. Keep in mind that we are both 75. That being said, I’m wondering if there should be an age limit. We’re both in decent shape and neither of us is overweight, but it was tough for us to get into and especially out of the kayaks. Our guide helped with everything, but it took him and another person to get my wife out, and I required three adults to help me out (which was embarrassing for both of us.) If you’re a Senior, keep this in mind. Would I recommend the trip? Absolutely. We may not come back, but that’s more about us than the tour.
Highly recommend this tour! Brittney is amazing! So fun and knowledgeable. If you are a new kayaker, she's got you! We learned a lot about the area as we paddled and we saw an osprey too. We had a gorgeous day and great conditions. The views of the Ten Mile range are amazing! It was a fantastic way to get out on the water and Brittney very nicely took pics of all of us. You will have a great time!
None of the four of us had ever been kayaking before. It was a blast! Our guide was great. Frisco gave us great weather. Definitely a repeatable trip.
Really great kayaking trip. Cool to see all the mountains around and just be out in the middle of them. We had a perfect day with no wind, flat water and an empty lake. Brittany, our guide, was amazing. I have don’t lots of outdoors tours and she was one of the best guides I have ever had. Great personality, perfect amount of information, and super engaging. Highly recommend if you want to do something a little different in Colorado.
We had an amazing time kayaking with our guide Brittney this morning. She was kind and knowledgeable about the lake, kayaking and other things about the area. It was a great value!
