Isla Mujeres Beginner/Family Scuba Diving Experience

I had my first scuba diving experience with mundaca team. I tried to dive before but wasn't able because of my fear to the ocean. But I wanted to try again, I was very scared and nervous but the instructor valentino help me to remain calm, safe and with clear instructions. He was checking on me and all my family all the time. I would be forever thankfull to valentino for helping me have the best experience of my life ❤️ lNow I im thinking would like to continue with scubadiving and one day get certified.

We went on the trip yesterday with our family to the Underwater Museum and The Reef. You get to see many interesting things and lots of wildlife. We are all beginners but Valentino explained everything very clearly gave great instructions. I was nervous at first but as soon as I got in the water and saw how crystal clear the water was and all the fish I was truly amazed and relaxed. When he tells you to relax and enjoy, I thought about that while underwater and it really made our experience much better. I found a new hobby when I go back to Vancouver. I will be working on getting my scuba license when I go back home.

I went snorkeling here last April on spring break, and then scuba just a few days ago. NONE OF THESE ARE PRIVATE UNLESS SPECIFIED AND PAID FOR. Snorkeling was great, the current was strong for the trip near the rocks but that was fine as you have the large flippers on. Scuba is good, I did the discovery option which introduced you to scuba diving, gear is provided. You start off filling out a paper then you get gear fitted, wait for any others then watch a video. After that you walk to the docks (5 minute walk) and your gear is carried their by the helper. It takes about 30 minutes from start to getting to the docks with 3 people. On the boat docks you put your gear on and then show you can use it to the instructor in the shallower water. Once everything is good, you go out to the deeper water, we did 2 different areas. We first went to the underwater statues then the reef. It was very beautiful and it is about 30 feet down for both, you use a rope to climb down there. Instructor was very nice, helped out well and explained things properly and easy to understand. The gear was high quality, seemed new and functioned without error for about an hour and a half of diving on 2 tanks. 10/10 experience, make sure to tip the boat driver and the dive instructor as it helped out.

Mundaca Divers is the best place to go for snorkeling, swimming with whale sharks, and scuba diving. Rubi was one of the instructors that took me scuba diving. She was able to teach me a lot, since it was my first time, she made everything feel safe and comfortable. The different scuba diving places we went had lots of bright coral and fish as well as statues and more shells/wildlife. I would rate my experience 5 stars because Rubi & Antonio make you feel right at home: like family. The pricing was super good as well. When swimming with the whale sharks, I was able to see 8 separate ones and even swim with 3 others.

I took my daughter on a discovery dive yesterday and had an amazing time. Rubi was our dive instructor and did such an amazing job. She encouraged my daughter and made such a memerable experience for her. Thanks rubi!

We were in early February for my birthday in Isla Mujeres., and we had the right to tour Manchones Reef and the MUSA with the company Mundaca Divers... It is a super professional company, Don Jesus, the Holder, a very attentive person with extensive knowledge in diving, and Lucy, our great guide during the experience, a person with a lot of knowledge and pleasant...
