My wife and I are Chicago Architecture Center members. We have taken many walking tours. We thoroughly enjoyed Intro to Chicago Architecture. Our docent, Mary Jo, provided great insights, information, and perspectives. We’d recommend this tour for those who don’t know much about Chicago’s history as the birthplace of skyscrapers or for experienced people looking for a fascinating overview.
Thank you for the great review and thank you for being CAC Members! We appreciate your kind words and are delighted that you have explored so much of the city with us. We look forward to seeing you both on your next CAC tour!

Very interesting tour with a blend of history, modern and post-modern. Stepping inside some lobbies of buildings we have passed many times introduced another aspect of the buildings. Our guide Cheryl was prepared, courteous and engaging.
Mary Ann was a super guide, many helpful tips for our stay! Thank you very much!

Our guide, Anna, was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. We recently moved from Dallas to Chicago and learned a great deal about the city's architecture and history. I highly recommend the tour and Anna as your guide. She is passionate about Chicago, its architecture, and its history.

What a great way to spend 90 minutes and learn so much about Chicago architecture. Even with the rain, it was a fantastic experience—Chicago is truly is a beautiful city! Thank you to the Chicago Architecture Center.
Thank you for the great review! We're so happy you enjoyed exploring our beautiful city with us on the Intro to Chicago Architecture tour. Thank you for sticking it out in the rain to take in the sites! We hope to see you again!
Our guide, Mila, curated a beautifully balanced menu of Chicago structures including not only iconic sites like Marina City, the Jewelers Building, and the Carbon & Carbide Building, but also hidden gems that I didn't even know existed! The fully restored Art Deco lobby of the former Chicago Motor Club and two separate interior Tiffany mosaics were particular highlights. Mila kept our multi-generational group safe as we crossed busy streets and always found shady spots for lecture stops along the way on a hot summer day. Talks were informative but never boring. Our guide struck the perfect balance; imparting dates and notable architectural details while weaving in fascinating stories of Chicago personalities like Daniel Burnham and Marshall Field and more! She even got the group thinking and chatting by asking us what we noticed--inviting us to look closer. Chicago Architecture Center is the gold standard for all your Chicago buildings and history needs. Accept no substitutions! I've lived in Chicago for 25+ years and still learn something new on every CAC tour. The "Intro to Chicago Architecture" walk was no exception.
Wow! Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We strive to bring both education and entertainment to our tours and it sounds like Mila hit the mark and then some. We are delighted you and your group enjoyed the Intro to Chicago Architecture tour and we appreciate the continued support. We look forward to seeing you on your next tour!
