Enjoy a memorable evening concert of baroque music by the acclaimed Interpreti Veneziani ensemble in the heart of Venice. Head for the Church of San Vidal and take your seat for a performance of lilting baroque concertos and sinfonias by composers such as Mozart, Handel, Bach and Vivaldi. Immerse yourself in such soul-stirring works as Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons" and Mozart’s "A Little Night Music," all brought to life by the passion and skill of the ensemble, and enriched by the 17th-century setting and clear acoustics.

The concerts seek to revive the sound of musical instruments of the period in an ambience steeped in history and beauty. Experienced in this atmosphere, the harmony between the music and the other arts creates a moment of perfection. Interpreti Veneziani, prominent in the international panorama, showcases the glory of baroque and Italian music with expertise, joy, and exuberance. Passion combined with interpretive variety are the keys to their public success and the critical acclaim for every concert.
Once inside the church, you are immediately struck by the principal alterpiece painted by Vittore Carpaccio: a painting that represents "Saint Vitale on horse and four Saints Adoring Virgin Mary and Child" (1514). Other paintings present in the church are works by artists from the '700's operative in different locations around the lagoon such as Piazzetta, Pellegrini, and Giulia Lama, a painter with not many renowned works. Opposite to the façade, you will find Bazzini's organ, built in 1833.

I have attended concerts at this venue before and it has good acoustics. As a former church in the heart of Venice, it makes a great venue. The musicians played beautifully. When in Venice, a musical performance is always a great experience. Plenty of local restaurants to grab a dinner before or after the concert.
Lovely way to spend an evening in Venice, beautiful performance by extremely talented musicians. Only downside; the church had wonderful acoustics but a little stifling, maybe a couple of decent fans would have helped, we enjoy the heat but it was an endurance, goodness knows how the musicians cope! Also price wise, I paid over the odds via Tripadvisor, and paying directly to the event either in advance or, even more do, on the door would have cost a lot less.
This was my third time experiencing Interpreti Veneziani. I saw them perform while I was in college over 25 years ago, then again in 2008, and now for a third time with my husband. Loved it every time. It’s such a great way to see live classical music performed in Venice. The musicians are so passionate and the show lasts just a bit over an hour. Not too long for non music people (ie my husband ). I will say that the venue in the summer was crushingly hot. Bring a fan! And also if you want to hear Vivaldi’s Four Seasons make sure to pay attention to the program schedule. I booked the wrong night. Still wonderful Vivaldi music but I love the Quattro Stagioni!
It was a beautiful venue with amazing acoustics. The musicians were very talented and each one added their own personal flair to each piece. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. It lasted just over an hour.
Great concert! Enjoyed the musicians playing Vivaldi. Every time in Venice we attend a concert! Part of the Venice Experience. Worth it!!!
Beautiful setting and accoustics for an evening of Vivaldi. The musicians were excellant and obviously passionate about their playing.
It was a beautiful immersive experience! The musicians were amazing performers and played very well.
1. Making the arrangement with Viatour online has been an opportunity again. 2. But this time tge concert venue was not clear so we has to rush from one place to another. 3. The local agent and the phone for assistance was not available 4. Good thing my name was given to tge organizers. 5. Please also give the reference/booking number also next time. 6. It was an excellent concert in an exceptional church.
Great musicians! The music was fantastic and the venue was beautiful. The seats were small and uncomfortable and the acoustics of the building weren't the best. We'll worth it for the quality of the musicians.
We were truly surprised by a very good show in an incredible place.
