The meeting point is Take Torrey Pines Scenic Drive until it flows into a large dirt parking lot. Once in the lot go left towards the ocean. There is a brown/white building on the northwest side with Palm Trees around it. We meet at my car in the parking lot near it. Keep your eye on your text or emails for updates. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

This was exhilarating, if you are not afraid of heights and are ok getting scratched, scrambling, and sliding. My wife was not thrilled for these reasons, however my son and I greatly enjoyed it. You will get dusty. You will need to use your hands to steady yourself on the limestone. You will get branches in your face. You will be on the edge of steep drop-offs. This is not a mild, "stroll in the canyons." It's intense. Be forewarned!
Great tour with you and a very dedicated and environmentally friendly guide. Granger took a lot of time and explained a lot about history and nature. At the end of the trail, you are rewarded with a dreamlike view.
What an incredible adventure! The canyon and views are beautiful. We usually hike by ourselves without a guide but his help and expertise were much appreciated and he took such great photos. Well worth it. HIGHLY recommend
This was my favorite thing I did in SD! Amazing views, and a really kind guide. Had a blast! Parking is free and easy. A few medium-difficulty climbs, so wear sturdy footwear.

Pretty amazing to see the ocean and the cliffs, and some of the canyons and slot canon carved out a sand stolen.
After years of living in San Diego and hiking all the popular routes, I had no idea this existed. I'm so glad that I booked this on my trip back to experience a different part of La Jolla!

I cannot say enough about this experience. Granger does an amazing job at making you feel comfortable. Not only did he help us through this hike, he related it to real life situations that felt like a therapy session. We're taking away more than just photos from this trip.. thank you Granger! Also - yes, there are challenges and 'face your fears' moments - however - there are many different routes to take and Granger makes sure to keep everyone safe. There are options for all levels.
