Very nice halfday trip in the mountains with waterfalls. About 1.5 hour walk.
For the price, this trip is great value. The journey up to Imlil was safe and comfortable, with Saeed driving. He was friendly and happy to answer any questions. We made a few stops along the way to take in the views, visit an argan oil cooperative, and grab a coffee. Mohammed guided us on the trek, which was a good length and honestly would’ve been tough without his help. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it too. I’d recommend bringing good shoes and enough water for the hike, but otherwise everything is well taken care of. Would definitely recommend 👍
Very nice and very interesting guide. Everything was as described, beautiful discovery of the Atlas, far from the tumult of Marrakech. Excellent lunch and stunning views of the mountains. We highly recommend. Thanks again to Ibrahim and Said for his very careful conduct.
The tour contained a short hike (1 hr) to the waterfalls and through Imlil, an optional lunch, a visit to an argan oil cooperative and a short camel ride. It was excellent value for money and Youssef was a great guide
Comfortable car, deliciously formatted great lunch, very nice
Lovely day out walking with our guide Ibrahim who was great, the trek was interesting and not too hard but totalled 6.5 miles. Lunch was perfectly acceptable for 70dhm each. Only thing I didn't like was our driver, Hicham, he drove erratically, didn't use air con just had windows open and played loud music for last few miles. No consideration for the passenger comfort.
We had a great day, easy and quick communication with Abdou our driver allowed a quick and punctual set up in front of our hotel Our guide Brahim was very attentive and available, and gladly answered all our questions We had a great day and recommend the activity, do not hesitate!
Really amazing experience, starting in a Moroccan village, then going to a market, and moving on to the hike with lunch at the end. Overall, truly a great time. Would highly recommend for a day trip while in Marrakech. Hassan was a great guide, very friendly, respectful and fun. Thanks for a great time!
This was a great tour of Atlas Mountains and Imlil. The tour includes two photo opportunities overlooking panoramas on the way up and a stop at an Argan oil facility. Once in Imlil, there is a short hike to scenic waterfall and then a short hike from there to the restaurant for lunch. The hike is not very long, but does have many steps. Tour guides go slow to ensure it's not too challenging for all the steps. The lunch was 65Dh and required that you paid in cash. They had chicken and vegetarian tagine as the two options.
I had a wonderful day and I recommend 100% this activity. The day starts at the argan oil cooperative where we are explained the manufacturing process and it is also possible to buy products (without pressure). Thanks to our driver Mustapha D. for guiding us through the Asni market. Afterwards, we started our trek south to the Berber village of Aroumd (1,843m) passing through the hamlets and observing Mount Toubkal, which is the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa. The scenery is amazing and we walk to the waterfalls. The setting and scenery were simply splendid. Mustapha (#2) our guide ensures that everyone is comfortable during the hike and that we can enjoy the landscapes to the fullest! Afterwards, the journey continues until reaching the village of Ait-Suka for lunch in the home of a Berber family. We return to Marrakech at the end of the day. Needs improvement: It would have been interesting to have more information on the Berber way of life. Advice: Have a good physical condition without being an athlete (it is not flat ground!). It is better to wear walking or running shoes, as we sometimes pass over rocks. I had a wonderful day and I 100% recommend this activity.
