An unforgettable experience with Howth Adventures!
Our experience with Howth Adventures exceeded all of our expectations. The day started with a lovely breakfast before we set off on an incredibly beautiful hike along the stunning Howth coastline.
Our guide, Shane, was knowledgeable, friendly, and so encouraging throughout the day. He is truly an amazing person and made the experience even more special. Having Loki, the wonderful dog, join us on the hike was so lovely and made the day even more memorable.
The scenery in Howth is absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth a visit. This hike became one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Dublin, and it’s an experience we’ll remember for a long time.
We highly recommend Howth Adventures to anyone visiting Dublin, and we’ll definitely be recommending it to all of our friends.
Warm regards,
Elise & Julia from Sweden

Amazing hike with spectacular views!
This hike was absolutely fantastic! Zach was an incredible guide—extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about the area. He made the entire experience fun, informative, and memorable. Locke was an added bonus and such a treat to have along!
The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every step worth it. I highly recommend this hike to anyone looking for an amazing outdoor adventure. I wouldn’t recommend it for children under 10. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and get ready for an unforgettable experience!

Jose,
Thank you for such an amazing 5 star review! It means the world.
Zack (like many of our guides) was born and raised in Howth, and therefore his passion is unmissable. Thank you for appreciating that.
We are so happy that Howth Adventures have left such a lasting impression of the beautiful peninsula.

Howth Coastal Hike
9 of us went on a tour with Sean this morning. Everyone loved it and we learnt so much on the hike. I have previously taken groups with Paul and Zach. They are all fabulous guides and great to get out of Dublin City and see what else there is to explore.
Operator response
Thank you so much for leaving us a review, and recognising our wonderful guides!
So glad to hear that your group enjoyed the Howth Coastal Hike and learnt a lot, a returning guest must mean we are doing something right!

This was the best guided hike I have been on. You definitely want to be on the fit side as we did about 7 miles and parts were steep. Guide was friendly and quite knowledgeable about a wide variety of things. He told wonderful stories! I would do this hike again.

Strikingly Beautiful Hike
My guide was a wonderful story teller. The hike was just beautiful. In spite of the clouds and impending rain, we only had minutes here and there of drizzle. A raincoat and waterproof shoes were a must to keep dry.

Howth Adventure- Must do
We booked the Howth hiking excursion with Howth Adventures through Viator, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Dublin. The route took us along stunning cliffside paths, up to the top of Howth with breathtaking panoramic views of Dublin Bay, and then back down into town. Every step offered something new and beautiful.
Our guide, Zack, was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history, nature, and hidden gems of the area, but what stood out most was how easygoing and passionate he is. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the whole experience even better.
Adding even more charm to the day was Zack’s friendly dog, Loki. Loki quickly became part of the group, posing for photos like a seasoned pro and bringing lots of smiles along the way.
This excursion struck the perfect balance of exercise, scenery, and storytelling. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re anywhere near Dublin, do yourself a favor and book this tour. It’s an experience you’ll remember long after your trip.

Howth and back
Shane is absolutely amazing. He's very engaging with everyone in your group, inquires about the group's experience levels and ensures a fantastic day for all. The topper though are his life experience stories. If given the option, make sure Loki joins you. Truly a wonder dog. Such a friendly, fun addition.

Brilliant, everyone must go if visiting Ireland
The views were amazing, we were lucky to experience hiking in rain and in the sun, it was really unique and beautiful. The guide was so friendly and smart! I didn’t notice how time passed. I was there with my mom and it wasn’t hard for her to complete the tour it is great as she hadn’t gone hiking before.
