We had an amazing horseback tour with the best guide ever- Hugo, he went above and beyond. The horses were beautiful and we were given an opportunity to pet and hang out with the horses as well as the other animals on the farm. The waterfall halfway was also beautiful and it was great to be able to go into the water and cool off. Midway through the tour at the waterfall - I slipped on a sleek rock gashed my chin open which needed stitches (my fault, not the tours). Hugo and the tour company went above and beyond in many ways after this accident. They arranged a bus to pick me up and take me to the local hospital, stayed with me the entire time as I was getting stitched up, and arranged a ride back. I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Will be recommending this company (specifically Hugo!) to any and everyone. Thank you for turning an unfortunate experience into a caring and memorable one!
We had our horse riding tour with Joseph today, and we had an amazing time. My husband has limited experience with horses, but Joseph helped us all the way and the animals selected were very calm and sure footed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was great! Flexible pick up, guides very professional. Our daughter was scared at first and started crying and instead of pulling her down, they assigned another rider with our group to guide her the entire way! They were extremely kind and accommodating. The ride itself is absolutely beautiful. We had adequate time to swim in waterfall pool and saw many animals including farm animals, a toucan, butterflies, frogs. The landscape as gorgeous. Lunch was good, adds to value.
Jasper was extremely helpful. A member of our party was very scared to ride a horse and wanted to stop right after getting on the horse. One of the guides was going to let her get off but Jasper said let's try something and he helped guide her horse the whole time riding next to get. The excursion itself was very fun. My younger son said it was his favorite thing we did on the trip. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! We were picked up at our hotel and taken into the high country! We got to visit the farm before saddling up and heading off. Our guide was great and made sure everyone had a fun and positive experience. You really get to see the high country upper jungle area from atop your horse! We all had so much fun. The waterfall was beautiful and the water felt refreshing after the ride. Loved every minute of this experience!! Do not miss it. We even had a traditional Tico lunch!
I had the most incredible horseback riding tour through the jungle with Orlando as my guide. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely excellent. The pick up with Caesar and drop off was seamless he was a very safe driver. Orlando was knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made sure everyone felt comfortable with their horses before we set off, and throughout the ride he shared fascinating insights about the jungle, local wildlife, and the surrounding area. You can tell he truly cares about both the animals and his guests. The scenery was breathtaking — riding through lush greenery, surrounded by the sounds of nature, was such a peaceful and unforgettable experience. The horses were well-trained, calm, and clearly well cared for. If you’re considering a horseback jungle tour, I can’t recommend Orlando highly enough. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip, and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Our guide was great and took us to a waterfall to swim! The lunch included was delicious, and they picked us up at our Air B&B!
Joseph is an excellent guide! The horses all look healthy and well tended to. They are beautiful! Riding through the jungle was perfect! Joseph needs a raise!
This was a full 4 hours walk in the forest ! No driving time taken out like a lot of tours do. First , the place is gorgeous. And the horses are healthy ( not the case in all countries …) . Our guide took us in the mountains all the way to a creek and small water fall. Now, this is not flat terrain … we went up, up and down down !! lol. Most of our group never did horseback riding before and made it no problem. Personally, I was happy with a little excitement…
