This is perhaps one of the best ways to discover the wonders of the jungle, which has some of the best kept. Come and discover nature on our 80 acres private and exclusive property, where you will also enjoy your own private waterfall.
The tour begins at our beautiful Herradura Costa Rica base, just 10 minutes from Jaco Beach and Los Suenos Marriott Costa Rica.
Once you arrive there, we equip you and then we will leave on our trip to the waterfalls, on the way you will see farms, and you will see nature close by, as you begin to ascend through the rainforest.
You may be able to spot some large wild animals such as: toucans, scarlet macaws and white-faced monkeys. When you get to the pool and waterfall area, your bilingual guide will prepare it. With a little fresh fruit and water where you will have some time to relax and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slides.

Underwhelming
Our guides Logan and Carlito were kind and helpful. The check-in process however is chaos. They should have you complete the waiver online before arrival. The ride itself was very unremarkable. Not much to see aside from some very thin cows. The waterfall was a trickle because it has been a little dry. We didn't swim in the pool. The horseback tour shares the trail with the ATV tour. I didn't like that. Aside from lovely conversations with our guide, it was a disappointment.

A must do experience!
This was really fun! Me and my wife didn't have any experience riding horses, but the instructors and horses were experienced and made everything really easy on us. Most of the trip was shaded by large beautiful trees, the trails were rugged, but not scary, the only complaint I have is the waterfall was not much of a waterfall. Overall this was a great experience, if you dont care about waterfalls and want the horse riding experience this is definitely it! The activity does encourage long pants, we did not bring pants so we wore shorts. It was a little uncomfortable until we laid a towel over the saddle, make sure to bring a towel if you dont have pants!

Jacó Horseback and Waterfall Tour Fail
There is basically nothing to this tour. There is nothing interesting about it. The guides lead you to a waterfall with a basin you can swim in and an area to walk around. There is a cooler that dispenses water in paper cones. It only takes an hour at best. You retrace your route in to go out. Definitely not worth it. There are much better horseback tours available. Don’t waste your money on this one.

Great horseback ride trip with visit to waterfalls.
Fun horseback ride through the forest and visit 2 waterfall pools. We able to swim in the waterfall pools which was a great experience. The horses were docile and felt safe to ride. There was one youngster around 6 years old who had never ridden and by the end she loved it. Wear your bathing suit if you want to go for a dip. It’s very refreshing and you will dry off in no time.

Best Experience in Costa Rica
This was an amazing experience all the way around. From the beautiful horses to the gorgeous cenotes and waterfall... it was like a sweet piece of Heaven. Our guides were funny and accommodating, very knowledgeable and patient. I definitely recommend!

Chasing Waterfalls
We were a group of 8. Two of the ladies chickened out and didn’t ride. Nestor was very helpful and answered all our questions. The waterfall was beautiful. The 1.5 mile trek was magnificent even in the rain. Would definitely do it again. Thank guys.
