Excellent experience! The guides were very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the history of the land. For someone who has never ridden a horse before there was no issues for me based on the training the guides give and the horses were well trained as well.
Amazing experience! Definitely would recommend. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.
A nice experience, without being exceptional. The place is pleasant and the animals are well treated, which is really appreciated. Lupita, who takes care of us, works very well and is very friendly. It is not a must-do activity nor something extraordinary, but it remains a pleasant outing, especially if you are already at the El Dorado Royale.
Wonderful horses, beautiful cenote, and friendly tour guide. The ranch rescues abused horses, so you're supporting a wonderful cause. The ranch is also well taken care of.
We had an amazing time with the team at Banaza Ranch! Alma, Bond, Pablo and the cowboys were amazing and being beginning riders made us very comfortable! They choose your horse based on your experience, the horses and rest of the animals seem to be very healthy and happy with their lives enjoying retirement! We definitely will be recommending this to anyone that has an upcoming trip to Cancun!!!! Thank you everyone!
It was a lot of fun! Alma and the cowboys were all super helpful and nice. Definitely will book with them again!
Excellent experience, Alma and her team gave us an excellent tour and treatment; Alma, Fabián, Javier, and Orlando, I highly recommend living the experience!
Had a lovely morning at the Ranch. The horses are all amazing. Alma, the guide was very knowledgeable about the horses and clearly loved them all. I rode Kora, who was beautiful. It was lovely to hear the stories of the horses and how far they had come l. Being a rider X it would have been lovely to have been able to do more than walk, but I still enjoyed the experience I shared with my husband, who rode Tomato!
Great, fun experience . Would definitely do again . Stayed for about 3 hours, and very good admission prices!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience horseback riding at Rancho Bananza and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the ranch had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and every member of the staff was kind, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the animals in their care. One of the things that makes Rancho Bananza so special is that it provides a home for many rescued animals, including horses and donkeys. It was heartwarming to see how well they are cared for and how much love and attention they receive. Knowing that the ranch gives these animals a second chance made the experience even more meaningful. We spent about two hours at the ranch and chose the longer horseback riding route so we could enjoy even more time with the horses. I rode a beautiful chestnut mare named Chile, who was calm, gentle, and easygoing. She definitely enjoyed stopping for the occasional snack along the trail, which made me smile and added to her charming personality. Along the trail, we were also lucky enough to see wildlife, including iguanas and monkeys, which made the ride feel even more special and connected to nature. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would happily give Rancho Bananza 5 stars. If you’re looking for a memorable horseback riding adventure with caring guides, beautiful scenery, rescued animals that are clearly loved and well looked after, and an opportunity to learn a little about local nature and Mayan culture, I highly recommend visiting Rancho Bananza.
