This was a very enjoyable and relaxing trip to Hoover Dam! Our guide was John. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the construction as well as the surrounding areas like Boulder City. He went out of his way to make the tour more enjoyable. This was an excellent way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip and learn about some amazing local history in a relaxing way. You could tell from the very beginning of the tour how much John loves his job and his passion for Las Vegas and for the Hoover Dam. This tour is so worth it! Our guide, John, was great! He provided interesting knowledge and really made the experience even better! We made multiple stops and he took photos for us. We went through Boulder City, Stopped at Mead Lake Overlook, Walked the Bridge, Drove across the dam, then walked across the dam and he knew all the great photo spots! We then when inside for the power plant tour. This tour exceeded our expectations! John really made it extra special! Great Value for all we did!

We had a photo taken with my husband standing in Nevada as I stood in Arizona. It was a visible reminder that state lines are a man made construct. Nature seamlessly blends the two areas together. The view from the top of the dam was amazing.

This incredible tour of Hoover Dam and the areas surrounding it was truly an unforgettable experience. John picked us up in a luxurious SUV, fully supplied with drinks and snacks. He was so personable and pleasant, and his knowledge of the area was extensive. He provided numerous photographic opportunities for our group, and pointed out the best spots to take some shots. The tour was intimate and delightful, certainly an exceptional value!
