We’ll ride past Notre Dame Cathedral — the most iconic church in Saigon — while your guide introduces its history and significance. In the evening, the area is beautifully illuminated and is currently a popular photo spot among young locals.
Firstly, We start at Chuoi nep nuong Vo Van Tan, Located in District 3, one of the city’s most unique districts, this vendor occupies a small street corner where a local family has been preparing a mixed Vietnamese-Cambodian dish called “Chuoi Nep Nuong” or “Banana Grilled with Sticky Rice” for over four decades. Next, We'll walk into the heart of district 3 and explore the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings Area which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. This is where you’ll have original Bun Bo Hue, a unique recipe that takes approximately 8-10 hours to craft a rich broth combined with beef slices, pork sausage, and vibrant onion and spicy coriander. This food-stop is owned by a local with over 25 years experience from Hue (central Vietnam) Then, stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best “Bò Lá Lốt” (Beef in Wild Betel Leaves)
A street food paradise is here, You will watch ‘Bánh Xèo” and “Bánh Khọt” being made in front of you– Originating from the Mekong Delta in the western part of Vietnam, “Banh Xeo” derives its name from the sizzling sound it makes when cooked on a hot pan. Then, take a stroll, trying Bo Nuong Sa– BBQ grilled pork wrapped in lemongrass. Next, try the traditional (local owner) Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich before enjoying a refreshing sugar cane drink. Next up on your food adventure is visit Khmer market (next by Ho Thi Ky) you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping Vietnamese pizza (student’s favourite). Relax, have a Saigon beer (or jasmine tea) and hear your student guides sharing their local life.
Our last stop is Che Mam Khanh Vy, Vietnamese Sweet Soup. The owner have 45 years of experience selling traditional Che in Saigon. It’s located under old apartment (apart of Chinatown) in district 10
At the end of the food tour, we’ll enjoy a short scenic ride across Ba Son Bridge to Thu Thiem, then loop back for a panoramic view of District 1’s skyline. It’s a relaxing way to take in Saigon’s modern side and riverfront views before the tour concludes.
The journey includes an end. We’re here for your final moments, we ride back to your hotel or drop-off spot (within district 1, 3, 4, 5 & 10). Looking forward to your next trip! Love you!

Alternatively, you may make your way to the Saigon Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, District 1. We will pick you up and drop you off there.

What an amazing experience we had today. Thanks to our incredible guides who took us to some fantastic street stalls to experience authentic Vietnamese food that we wouldn’t have been brave enough to try ourselves. The motorbike ride was such a fantastic way to see the city and experience the buzz of travelling in the organised chaos of city traffic. We highly recommend the tour. You’ll have so much fun.
Out of the 3 different food tours we did in Vietnam, this one was definitely the best! And that was mostly because of our guides Kay and Tom! They were amazing!! We enjoyed the food and their company a lot. Time flew by. Thank you for the great night guys!
We had 2 great guides, Tom and Vince and they both drove very carefully and safe in the chaotic traffic in Saigon. The spots were we enjoyed our streetfood were original and the food was good. And the guys were superfriendly.
