Description

Kiss City Tour is more than sightseeing — it’s a conversation through time. Guided by young local storytellers, you’ll explore Saigon’s landmarks like Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Reunification Palace, alongside hidden gems like the Thích Quảng Đức Memorial, Thiên Hậu Temple, and Đỗ Phủ Café with its secret wartime bunker. At each stop, your guide will share personal stories and fresh perspectives — not just what happened, but why it still matters today. Expect honesty, humor, and moments that spark real reflection. Midway through the tour, you’ll enjoy one local dish — a short break to taste a flavor that’s part of Vietnam’s soul. The dish may vary, but it’s always a favorite. This tour is perfect for travelers who want more than just photos. It’s a journey into the heart of the city, led by people who live it — and love to share it.

Itinerary

120 min

This isn’t a typical city tour — it’s a personal journey through history, culture, and real conversations. Here’s what you can expect: - Ride through Saigon’s past and present with a local female guide in Ao Dai. - Visit key landmarks like Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and Reunification Palace. - Explore lesser-known sites like Thích Quảng Đức Memorial, Thiên Hậu Temple, and Đỗ Phủ Café with a hidden wartime bunker. - Hear personal stories and reflections that go beyond facts — how history shaped modern Vietnam. - Enjoy one local dish along the way — a short break to recharge and taste a flavor of the city. - Ask questions, share views, and connect with your guide for a real cultural exchange. - A meaningful city tour perfect for curious travelers who enjoy conversations, not checklists.

15 min

Step inside one of Saigon’s most iconic colonial buildings. This still-functioning post office features vaulted ceilings, vintage phone booths, and a giant portrait of Ho Chi Minh. It’s a charming blend of architecture, history, and everyday life.

Pass by

If you have limited time in Saigon and haven't got time to see the popular landmarks, we will take you there to tick off the sights and learn about city history & culture.

Pass by

Pass by the Independence Palace

15 min

This memorial honors Thích Quảng Đức, the Vietnamese monk who self-immolated in 1963 to protest religious oppression. Located at a busy Saigon intersection, the statue marks a powerful moment in history — quiet but unforgettable, right in the heart of the city.

15 min

Built in the late 19th century by the French, Notre-Dame Cathedral is one of Saigon’s most iconic landmarks. With its red bricks, twin bell towers, and peaceful garden out front, it offers a quiet contrast to the city’s usual buzz — and a glimpse into its colonial past.

30 min

Thien Hau Temple, located in Saigon’s Chinatown, is one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric temples. With its smoky incense coils, detailed carvings, and quiet courtyards, the temple offers a glimpse into both spiritual life and Chinese-Vietnamese heritage.

Brilliant half day tour

Absolutely loved our half day tour. Diny was a wonderful guide and was so caring with our children (8&6) we got to see things we otherwise would not have found and learnt so much. Highly recommend.

Motorbike adventure in HCMC

Great experience riding around on a bike in HCMC. Our guides Diny and Kim were really friendly, flexible and catered well to our needs and preferences. They kept us safe on the roads, well informed on the history of Saigon and pivoted when it rained, and when we needed more time at a particular spot, including offering to drop us back at Book Street so we could complete our browsing at leisure after the tour. We particularly enjoyed the coffee stop and the experience it gave us of the history - secret underground bunkers and all! We also got really good cafe and dinner recommendations from them - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Four times isn't enough.

We had already taken these tours last year, just the two of us, but this time five more family members joined us on the day tour then again on the night tour. I chose to pay the increased fee for a private tour, just us. It was worth it. We were delighted by the personalities of the drivers. What cheerful, outgoing people who also spoke English well and were conscientious safe drivers. They provided a wonderful experience for us. We were happy on the adventure but sad when it ended. FWIW, this evaluation is from a person who has visited Viet Nam 17 times, including probably a month total in Saigon. People like those drivers are the reason Saigon is so wonderful. I want to do it again.

HCMC Tour Good for Solo Female Travelers

I did the HCMC city tour, and Fidelia was a great tour guide! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about all our stops. Also, it was my first time riding on a motorcycle and I felt very safe with her. I enjoyed the tour spots and the lunch (vegan option) and coffee were both very good. I would recommend this to other solo female travelers as I felt very safe the whole time (also Fidelia took great pictures of me at each stop)!

More Than a Tour, A Beautiful Memory ✨

I had an amazing experience with this tour and it became one of the highlights of my trip to Ho Chi Minh City. The food was excellent and I had the chance to try many local dishes that I might never have discovered on my own, including Bánh Mì, Bánh Xèo, Bánh Tráng Nướng, avocado ice cream, and several other delicious Vietnamese specialties. Every stop was unique and gave me a deeper understanding of local food culture. What made this tour truly special was my guide. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming from the very beginning. She explained the food, local culture, and daily life in Vietnam with great enthusiasm, making the experience much more meaningful than simply visiting restaurants. She was also very patient, attentive, and easy to talk to. I never felt like I was on a commercial tour; instead, it felt like spending time with a local friend who genuinely wanted to share the best parts of her city. Her warm personality, beautiful smile, and positive energy made the entire day enjoyable and memorable. One of my favorite moments was visiting District 2 to enjoy the city view. It was a wonderful opportunity to see another side of Saigon beyond the typical tourist attractions. The combination of great food, local insights, and pleasant conversation made this tour unforgettable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. If you want to enjoy authentic local food, learn about Vietnamese culture, and spend time with an amazing guide, this tour is definitely worth it. Thank you for such a wonderful day. It was not only a food tour, but also a very happy and memorable experience that I will always remember ☺️☺️

We’ve got 2 friendly and very good drivers to guide us in the city. They were very kind and nice. We also really appreciate their deep Knowledge of the history. We asked so many questions. It was interesting, fun and inspiring. Also they were flexible and made us discovered secret places (we were back into 50’). Thank you! Strongly recommend !
